Well that looks a lot like our Melbourne weather here in Australia - they say it's four seasons in one day
At the very top of this page click on "settings". Then click on "General Settings". Then in the second section titled "Messaging & Subscriptions" there is a setting called something like "Default thread subscriptions" with a selection box next to it. Yours must be set to get emails when someone makes posts... so just change the selection.
