drink more water and eat more apples. You need more fiber, and if you are taking medication on a regular basis you need so much more water than usual.

Cut dairy out of your diet, and eat plenty of fruits.... Any type of fruit that is really juicy...

I drank a quart of apple juice in one day, and could not get off the john for that whole day True story...

Thank you,I intend to try these things.I believe my main issue is mostly to do with diet.I am also naturally sluggish in my bowels the dr says I have irritable bowel syndrome, along with that I also have auto immune problems.

As has been said: Rule number one is to drink more water
(you really have to exaggerate a LOT for it to be too much )
If plain water gets boring, find mineral water (without sugar).

Also as said: Get much fiber (but water first, or it will have the opposite effect).
In addition to apples, bananas are good. + seeds (ie "full grain" bread with sunflower seeds or similar)

No,I don't think I eat alot of junk food, but then again maybe don't always get to choose what I eat.I have a certain amount of money that only goes so far.But still I am able to incorporate change, such as the water and fruits and more vegetables.

I have four children to feed that eat so much!,sometimes I don't get to eat what might be healthiest for me,I guess.

This is a doctor's advice. Train your body to make regular bowel movements by sitting on the toilet every night at say...5pm. Do this whether or not you have the urge to go. Eventually, your body will start going.

Eat minute oats without boiling them. Put it in a coffee cup, add milk & flavor to taste just like cereal. Start out with only a small cup, for it may work too well!

Wheat, rye, barley, sunflower seeds, yeast, salt , not expensive, but makes healthy bread with much fibre :)

here is a recipe:

  • 1 ¾ l water or milk
  • one pack of yeast (if you have those small thingies there too)
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 500 g whole rye flour
  • 1 kg whole wheat flour
  • 1 kg wheat flour
  • 2 dl sunflowerseed kernels (not sure if you call them that, sunseeds without the casing)
  • 1 dl flax

If you will make this cereal to keep in the frig, or if too much freeze part of it, and have it every morning you would never again be bothered. You can make your own recipe for it with some math skills. Decide on cooked cereal you like, but be sure to include barley. Brown rice is good. Write down the amount of water and the time it takes to cook 1/2 cup of each one. Add all the water needed, and put that to boil with the 1/2 cup of the longest to cook cereal. Subtract the time that the next longest to cook takes, set the timer for that time and add the next, and so on down the line. Here is a recipe all done for you.

Put 7 1/2 cups Water to Boil (I add a bit to account for evaporation while uncovered)
1/2 cup Barley Set Timer for 14 Min. To cook 45 Min.
1/2 cup Steel Cut Oats Set Timer for 9 Min. To cook 30 Min,
1 /2 cup Cracked Wheat Set Timer for 8 Min. To cook 20 Min.
1/2 cup Kasha Set Timer for 1 Min. To cook 10 Min.
1/2 cup 10-Grain Cereal Set Timer for 8 Min.

That only adds up to 41 minutes, I am allowing for time between additions.

It is delicious. You can eat it hot or cold, add nothing, or honey, or fruit--whatever.

The bread recipe sounds SO good. For a hint when using brown flour: it takes longer for brown flour to absorb liquid, so if you adjust any recipe using it to add the liquid and brown flour first, and let it set longer, even if it is in the frig over night, the bread will turn out better. It is called making a sponge. Another hint: to add flavor and fiber any whole grain seeds can be put in a blender to crack them and be added to the bread. You can just add them, but if you soak them for awhile in hot water it softens them just enough so they add texture and flavor but are easier to digest.

Incidentally, if it does work too well, drink pure lemon juice straight. Works like a charm.

This will help you to go and make sure that you steep in hot water, not boil the tea in water; and take it 3-4 hours after you have eating your last meal of the day and use the original flavor, but not the fruit flavor ones and by itself without any flavoring or sugar and cream. But after being clean out, you should take three times daily some magnesium tablets, two tablets three times daily and eat a lot of raw vegetables and fruits. You should be feeling fine after following these steps.

Here is the tea that I'm talking about:

Wowsers! It sounds like you mustn't be used to drinking healthily.

I had ibs and it is under controll now by avoiding any store bought prepared foods.
Now all is from scratch and life is much better. :)
Eating a bowl of oatmeal before bed each night has helped keep all regular.
And a cup of coffee made with chicory is amazing for getting things moving.

Hope this helps :)
God bless
