Cactus - Hometown Bust

From their second LP, One Way... Or Another, released in 1971.

Beck's Bolero invaded my mind last night and has kept playing intermittently .:giggle:

I did post this earlier in this thread (top of page 9), but he has since passed away .. R.I.P. Jeff.

Geoffrey Arnold Beck (24 June 1944 – 10 January 2023). Beck's Bolero is from 1966.

PS~ I had a heck of a time trying to "put my finger on" what song I kept hearing until I went to look
for it just now
.. I had thought maybe it was an instrumental from James Gang or Fleetwood Mac...
As soon as I went to youtube, however, I typed in Jeff Beck's name and found it immediately :D

Paul Stookey, who wrote "Wedding Song (There Is Love)", first performed it October 18,
1969, at the wedding of Peter Yarrow — Stookey's co-member of Peter Paul & Mary.

I hear it occasionally on my Christian talk radio station .:). So beautiful!

Very nice songs here and amazing music.
@Ted01 how did you come to hear about that song in post #586?

A song some folks tried to use to win me over to Christ. I was not a believer. Ultimately I turned to Christ and their prayers perhaps played a part. So this song is special to me.

Oh, that one I first heard in the movie Ocean's 11, I think...
I figured :D, but you have posted some good stuff. Very nice and thanks for sharing.

Those old Italian songs are usually played in an Italian festival called "Sanremo".
There are some amazing songs from that era.
Here's a classic:

Here's another song which you may have heard from a movie soundtrack (Wolf of Wall St). These are songs that defined a generation in Italy.
This one was released in 1979.
