It is not about what I suppose, it is about the context.Well.....it doesn't say "Most Holy Person" either as you suppose.....![]()

It is about context as we read the whole, not build a belief on one verse as so many do.there is no perfect english bible.
So we better test all words, and make sure they are right.
Oh I agreeIt is about context as we read the whole, not build a belief on one verse as so many do.
The only perfect text was the original and no one has those.
But in my opinion, some do seem to change verses to prove a belief.
Precisely. It is not about what I suppose, it is about the context.
So who/what is Daniel 9:24-26 speaking about?Precisely lol......![]()
"in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (KJV)So who/what is Daniel 9:24-26 speaking about?
The temple, or the coming Messiah?
Some people have actually noticed that has already happened."in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (KJV)
They cannot sacrifice without the temple. It has to be standing for them to be implementing the sacrificial system.
The temple will be built again.
Correct, in the mist of the week, He, Jesus, caused the sacrifices and the oblation to cease when He, Jesus, confirmed the new covenant promised by God in Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews chapters 8,9, & 10, with His sacrifice on the cross."in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (KJV)

Since when is Jesus the antichrist aka the prince that shall come? Since when does Jesus defile the Temple the Holy PLACE "hagios topos" BY MERELY STANDING IN IT per Matt 24:15?Correct, in the mist of the week, He, Jesus, caused the sacrifices and the oblation to cease when He, Jesus, confirmed the new covenant promised by God in Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews chapters 8,9, & 10, with His sacrifice on the cross.
Prophesy fulfilled.
The man of sin, the anti-christ is not mentioned at any time in Daniel 9.
Hagios topos per Matt 24:15 genius. So when a later day translation adds the word "place" to anointing the Most Holy, that completely changes the meaning of the verse, should you accept that translation?
Did not say Jesus is the anti-christ.Since when is Jesus the antichrist aka the prince that shall come? Since when does Jesus defile the Temple the Holy PLACE "hagios topos" BY MERELY STANDING IN IT per Matt 24:15?
You do not even realize that Jesus Himself is the commentator who correctly interprets Daniel 9?
Why in the world should I trust your interpretation that is so horrifically butchered?
Matt 24:15 cannot possibly be twisted and contorted into anything other than what it means:
It is the temple, it is future, it is the antichrist commiting the AoD.
Never ever trust a clueless preterist who preaches the outrage that Jesus is the antichrist who defiles the Temple by His prescence.
How about you giving us the complete definition of "place" from Strong"s.Hagios topos per Matt 24:15 genius.
Only reason you are not on ignore right now is because I'm using you as a sounding board.
And after that you are gone.
A little dishonest on your part.Glad you agree
Either way I am running out of time to earn crowns to lay at His feet.

A person would have to be stupid not to understand this.
