I have absolutely no grace from the Father that tells me the US will be destroyed before the world itself is changed in an instant, but I do know one important truth from the Word.
When King David volunteered to construct the Temple for our Father, the Father said no, but your son, Solomon shell build it.
He denied David this privilege because David had blood-guilt due to hs waring and perhaps als because of the Uriah affair. I do know there has been a lot of killing going on at all levels within and without. God bless all Americans that they be in Jesus Christ, Yeshua, amen

Read the Bible and you will be truly enlightened. Just to point you in the right direction check out Revelation. Babylon the great is a CITY not a country. The description is that of a City, not a Country
You are partly right. But I believe it still is. the Revelation prophecies come to complete fulfillment when the beast rules from Jerusalem and the whole world worships him this is why Israel exists today. Present day Jerusalem will be destroyed at the second coming. The Millennial Jerusalem and Temple will cover the whole of present day Israel and more. The Millennial Temple and City are described in detail in Ezekiel.

Often times a nation is identified by it's chief city.
I believe if one examines all characteristics of Mystery Babylon, one could conclude it is more than just a city.
and yet, it exhibits all of the signs in the Bible of 'sodom and gomorrah...

This whole "change" of the world has been going on for millennia. It has been a process since the rebellion.
It sort of it like a frog in a pot of water over the fire.

The original Babylon was a City State not a nation as we would use the term. If the USA is Babylon then which of its Chief Cities are we supposed to interpret as the one mentioned in Revelation. Washington is the Political Centre of Power so I assume you expect something nasty to happen there in the near future Should the the Washington population start leaving or do you expect a mass migration from the US as a whole in obedience to Revelations warning to get out?. Where will they all go ?

I believe that NY City is the chief city of the USA. I would never live there. It does seem to be a terrorists target all the time.
Sooner or later they will succeed again and many lives will be lost.
Personally, I will not live in any city. I do not feel safe in any of them.
