2 Thess 2:1-12, (A Future Temple) Isaiah 66:1-9 Shows This To Be True, Same Events!

Gods words in Isaiah 66:1-9 below shows the Jews building a future place of worship/temple and renewed animal sacrifice that's (Not Blessed By God) but is an (Abomination) to the finished work on Calvary.

Isaiah 66:1-9 and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 same "Future" event taught in parallel:

1.) A Temple: "Where Is The House You Build Unto Me"

2.) God's Delusion: "I Also Will Choose Their Delusions"

3.) The Second Coming: "He Shall Appear To Your Joy"

Isaiah 66:1-9KJV
66 Thus saith the Lord,
The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those thingshave been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck;
he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood;
he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol.
Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes,
and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word;
Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple,
a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12KJV
2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Old Testament must be interpreted through the New Testament. Jesus is the Temple made without hands in the New Testament. If there is a third temple, those who believe so have already rejected Christ and his atonement, thinking they will once again sacrifice animals for sin according to Ezekiel. Hebrews 6 says this sin is unforgivable. The OT is symbolic, not literal as it applies to the the NT.

Thanks for the response.

Those building the future temple will be "Unsaved Jews", they have no care or concern for New Testament theology or Jesus Christ, their Messiah is yet future.

I strongly disagree with your claim that the Old Testament is merely symbolic.

But Ezekiel says the whole world will offer animal sacrifices = a total rejection of Christ if you don't understand the OT symbolically as Jesus taught.

Stop making a claim, without posting Scripture in support of this claim.

Why are you involved in this if you haven't read Ezekiel on the temple?

Ezekiel what,where?
You should know about Ezekiel's temple and the impossibility of building it by now. Also how he calls for atoning animal sacrifices for the whole world. Which if taken literally, will send all dispensationalists and premillennialist to hell.

There is no future temple seen in Ezekiel, the eternal kingdom is seen in Ezekiel chapters 47-48

How can the man of sin sit in a "future" temple when he was already alive and being "withholden" when Paul wrote?

This guy 2000 years old? Ya theory doesn't fit the scripture Paul wrote.

The problem is with the Premillennialists and Dispensationalisist who call for a literal temple based on it = total rejection of Christ and turning to Judaism.

I agree 100% any future temple built and animal sacrifice is an abomination to the finished work on Calvary.

The Jews are planning to build a temple and have animal sacrifice as we speak, they are looking for their (Messiah- AKA The Antichrist) to come in the future.

The problem is the Dispensationalists and Premillennialist think it is true to scripture and have already defected to Judaism in their hearts should it happen in their personal future. They say the sacrifices are commemorative but scripture says they are the real deal. All of this because they could not see the arrival of the Kingdom in the first century. They even falsely prophecy a restored Roman Empire since it was to happen way back in that time.

Paul wrote of a future Man of Sin from his life.

The early church father's saw a future literal human as this Man Of Sin, from their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, century lives.

Justin Martyr, Iranaeus, Hippolytus to mention a few.

Preterism and 70AD fulfillment is just another false teaching of man.

You and the fathers can rewrite Paul's statements all you want, won't make it true.

Dave I'm fully aware of what dispensationalism falsely teaches, I'm aware of their false millennium with Jews leading animal sacrifice in a temple, and a renewed Levetical priesthood, as Jesus Christ sits on a throne of David in Jerusalem watching?

100% heretical in abomination

This is the "Delusion" seen in 2 Thessalonians 2

The strong delusion has nothing to do eschatological views, Paul qualfies his statement:

(2 Th 2:12 that they may be judged -- all who did not believe the truth, but were well pleased in the unrighteousness.)

If you are claiming dispensationalists are "well pleased in the unrighteousness" then you are deluded yourself.

If I understand you correctly these are the points you are predicting. For each point please confirm yes or no, so that I may understand your positions.
1) Future temple is to be built, Yes or No?
2) repeated sacrifices will be made in this future temple, Yes or No?
3) the high priest of this future temple will be the Antichrist, Yes or No?
4) the location of this future temple will be in Jerusalem, Yes or No?

You are correct without a doubt. Dave L has a hard time with accepting that a real temple/building is being spoken of. The antichrist MUST have a temple to sit in before he can sit in a temple and show himself to be a god.
