It depends on whether you had your money on the bird or the target. And being shat on by a bird is good luck! .![]()
I looked at an overview of Molinism did construct a ROSES without realizing that Molinism already has its own ROSES so there may be something to your evaluation, although there is something I read in the overview that seemed quite objectionable attached to the movement though I forget what since I've never readily attached myself to any particular sect. And being shat on by a bird is good luck! .![]()
the last "it" was meant to, more specifically, refer to sin, as the first "it" refers to freewill.and it is what I suspect as the cause as much as it is God's grace that provides for it.
I want to understand your position more clearly. If a once truly born again believer can’t possibly go back to sin and go to hell, explain:
Of course it is Calvinism. How come you are so confused? Calvinism and Reformed Theology are identical.I was very careful in how I worded it. And the Westminster Confession is an excellent treatise of the reformed understanding of the faith, but it is not Calvinism.
Because someone has a reformed understanding of scripture doesn't make one a Calvinist. Calvin was hardly the only reformer. And, believe it or not, it is possible to hold reformed beliefs simply through scripture alone.Of course it is Calvinism. How come you are so confused? Calvinism and Reformed Theology are identical.

Calvinism has become an umbrella under which those who are not reformed place all who are reformed. But there is much disparity amongst those who hold to a reformed biblical understanding. Because this is ill-understood, any word using some derivation of the word Calvin has become tantamount to a slur.
Christians are smart enough to be able to work through individual doctrines without labels.
That's what you get when you back a Calvinist into a corner...he is predestined to fight.Spoken like a true Calvinist.![]()
Then why were you not smart enough to recognize that both Calvin and Reformed Theology hold to the eternal security of the believer? You denied this and had to be corrected.Christians are smart enough to be able to work through individual doctrines without labels.
If you read the post more carefully, you will see that I didn't say both don't adhere to this doctrine. I merely said that one doesn't have to come to this realization. Then why were you not smart enough to recognize that both Calvin and Reformed Theology hold to the eternal security of the believer? You denied this and had to be corrected.
"The Reformed view, which was championed by the influential French theologian, John Calvin, states that salvation can only come to those who are truly called. Because the Bible explains that God’s calling is irrevocable, this view teaches that the true “regenerate” believer can never lose his salvation."
