A lot of good info there Gary, the "ecclesia" is the body of believers as well, not a building or organization. HB Mom has never posted anything that hits the mark, we are all in a process of growing to be conformed to the image of the son.

I posted those links so that [hopefully] @HillsboroMom might see that 'the Church' that Christ built was around - before, during, and after - Catholicism - [and] apart from it - even to this very day.

And, that the Roman Catholic Church started with Constantine and not Peter.

I don't think she is aware of that yet.

I believe you are correct, what she posts misses the mark by so much, we are all at differing stages of growth or lack of growth by choice, it is His desire we grow to and beyond what He Himself attained as He instructed the 12 that most would have an outward form of godliness denying the power but some would do greater works than he in these days.
we miss what went on with the gospel in the east, India where Phillip went, China, Ethiopia etc. we know the Ethiopian Eunuch (sp?) took the gospel back with him, Good unfolded his truth to the whole world and we can be kind of America myopic.
