As someone who always felt invisible to the opposite sex, I say pretty privilege exists lol. I remember when a friend and I went out to dinner, and the server looked at her most of the time when he would come to the table. He wasn’t unkind to me. Just nicer to her lol.

I’ve heard there are programs to block sites. Also, I would recommend having an accountability partner - a person you can be honest with and can talk to when you’re struggling.

As for me, I wasn’t really noticed by the opposite sex. I was pursued by 2 guys. First time I was 22. Second time I was 32. I married that guy lol.

“I will not and cannot be your accountability partner. I am not interested being in a relationship with you.”

When I started talking with my husband, I told myself I wasn’t going to do anything to try to impress me. He gets what he gets! lol. Fortunately he liked me enough to stick around lol.

i’m not in my 50s, but i was 39 when our daughter was born. i am tired lol. but i often think about how things will look like for us in the future.
