Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

    Sir, are you a Christian?

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

God told Moses to write down that some "sons of God" married daughters of men and that scripture does not mention "angels". . I fully believe that scripture too, sir, because it is in the Word of God. How you accept or interpret it differently is your choice. "Hebrew people" as a nation...

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

God asked Job..... Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. An easy answer, would have been "I wasn't born yet" and that would not have required much "understanding". But I believe the question was far more important and profound...

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

So, I say again. In the book of Jude, the angels left their first estate because they "despised dominion". It was the Sodomites, mentioned in the Book of Jude, who "went after strange flesh" and "defiled the flesh"....not the angels.

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

#! Adam is called "the son of God" for the same reason any other human is: because he was a believer. He is listed with the other believers in Genesis 5. #2. Abraham did not have to go to Heaven to be "before the Lord" and God, being everywhere, did not have to "leave" any place to meet him...

False. And you took my post out of context. I have "danced around" nothing. What do you mean "statement"? I asked a question. Read the question and answer. I will quote it again with the part you left out. "Basically a calvinist believes that God chose a certain number of "elect" from the...

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Do you believe that God only enables those he elected from before the foundation of the world?

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Basically a calvinist believes that God chose a certain number of "elect" from the beginning of time, No one is able to believe and be saved, but God enables those certain people to believe and be saved, and when He does, His grace cannot be resisted, Of course there are a few more beliefs too...

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Felix heard the Gospel and it scared him enough that he trembled. But he still had the freewill choice to accept it or reject it. Felix put it off. If you deny that, you are indeed calvinistic in your doctrine.

Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Jhn 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of...

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Ummm...the man "trembled" when he heard it, the Bible says. That would indicate that he was "pricked in his heart". The mind and will were "engaged" he rejected the Gospel with his will.

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

If I am correct in assuming, you are referring to the angels in the Book of Jude. This is how it reads in the KJV....and I will highlight some key points..... Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace...

    Salvation is a Free Gift.

Acts 24 24And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. 25And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I...

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

As I stated above, your text came up as from a "contemporary Torah". Can you show me the original Hebrew text, please?

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

Sorry, I don't use a "contemporary Torah"; I use one "version": a King James Bible. That Bible says God destroyed the world by flood because "the wickedness of man was great".

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

Every Hebrew occurrence of "bene elohim" and every Greek occurrence of "huilos theou" mean the same thing: "sons of God". As to WHO they are referring to is apparently a debate, not the conclusion. But I will give one example: Job chapter 1 and 2 refer to some "sons of God" who came "before the...
