    Hell's Population Clock

Jude 23: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. If hell is real, and it is real: then we as believers need to take serious our calling to not let others go there!

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

In John 15:6 what then was getting burnt in the fire? It seems to me it is a branch that is getting burnt. And there is no way that you can get a branch unless it was sometime somehow connected to the vine.

Can you be baptized by an unbelieving person?

I think one needs to be careful with answers here. I see quite often in this thread the implication that if you are baptized by someone who is not a believer, that makes the baptism invalid. I wholeheartedly agree that one should seek to be baptized by a believer, and as was pointed out...

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

Just read the passage and don't make it so complicated - excellent advice . . . My sheep are continuing to hear my voice and they are continuing to follow me and I am continuing to give to them eternal life! Wonderful truths and promises to the sheep! Amen! Hallelujah!

    Hell's Population Clock

And yet we see this in Matthew 10:15: Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. Unfortunately, in our world today there are those who are more defiant and impudent than was Sodom: surely not everyone is...

My KJV Debate with Jeffrey Dollar

Hmmm!!?? Methinks the KJV was written a few hundred years after Jesus died and rose again. Poor English speaking people before that time. There is really little else that needs to be said when one sees such blatant heresy written in bold dark print with huge letters!

My KJV Debate with Jeffrey Dollar

The KJV teaches the security of the person who is believing in Jesus.

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

There is security in Christ for the one who is believing. There is no need to try to introduce an external doctrine to help with asurance of salvation.

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

There isn't a problem as such - I am not disagreeing with you . . . I tend to approach issues like this more like this: The Bible says the person who is believing has eternal life The Bible says the person who is not believing does not have eternal life (the wrath of God remains...

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

I would say things a bit differently than you do perhaps, but I agree with your basic premise: that is, for myself, if I were to adopt the belief of "once saved always saved" I would also need to give up my assurance of salvation.

    video disagreeing with the "Rapture"

And I agree that it does not mean that there is no truth in the video. You will notice I said nothing for or against the content of the video itself.

    video disagreeing with the "Rapture"

I watched most of this video: then looked a bit at the website and other videos where this comes from: I found that this website promotes the Sabbath (rather than Sunday) and also the doctrine of soul sleep (that is - Christians do not immediately go to heaven when they die)

    Salvation Lost? Really?

Why would one even need to worry about an alleged line to cross, etc. What matters is what Scripture says about what it takes to be saved. For myself, I just read the Scriptures themselves to see what they say about salvation and how to retain it.

    Salvation Lost? Really?

So do you, then, believe that Peter and James and their writings are not part of God's message to Gentile believers in America today? And are you saying that their message is different than the message of Paul?

    Salvation Lost? Really?

I am not sure I understand. Do we not need the grace of God in order to do good works?

    Salvation Lost? Really?

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God . . . but we are his workmanship . . . The grace, the faith, and the works are all a part of God's gift of salvation to all who are thirsty and come to drink.

    Salvation Lost? Really?

There actually is a power that can combine works and grace: that power is Jesus Christ. And then the works we do are from the grace of God working in us. I am not afraid of "works". I am glad that works are very part of what saves me from a miserable life of following the flesh and the Devil.
