    Doctrine of Immutability (Eternal Security)

The latter part is totally inaccurate from my experience. Though it does sound like what happened to you in your upbringing.

    Doctrine of Immutability (Eternal Security)

Why are you so hung up on that? The apostles had a lot of time to learn Greek if they didn't know it already. Or they could have used an amanuensis.

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

That pastor was a thief and a liar. The tithe was to be paid on the tenth cow, not 10% of any cow. In other words, if your herd had only increased by 9 cows you didn't have to pay a tithe. The tenth cow though belonged to the lord.

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

The word every is πᾶς (pas). It's also translated all. Below is copied from above so I don't have to re-type it.

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

Point that out in the verse. Here's a literal translation Through this, even as sin entered into the world through one man, and death [entered] through [Adam's] sin, thus also death passed into all men, upon which all sinned. Romans 5:12 Here's how I read it Sin entered the world through Adam...

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

All that says is that sin entered the world through Adam, then his death because of his sin passed to all men (because Adam was not able to give them life), and then all men sinned because of their spiritually dead condition.

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

Actually, the Greek word translated as all doesn't always or of necessity mean every. It depends on the context. Sometimes it just means a representative sample that signifies the whole. For example, Joshua 7:5 says that all Israel stoned Achan. Does that mean that every person in Israel cast a...

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

Explain how. Don't just regurgitate talking points from your study.

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

That verse doesn't prove your point. He could have been referring to the time in his youth before he sat under Gamaliel when he really learned what the law meant. Remember he was born in Tarsus, and was sent to Jerusalem to study under Gamaliel.

What must I do to be saved

They believed in vain because they didn't hold fast to it. Compare with "You dieted in vain because you didn't stick with it."

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

Oh I'm listening, and all I hear is you sowing carnal things. So I pay tithe to you with spiritual things.

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

Everything was superseded and subsumed by spiritual realities. Paying tithes now is giving back to GOD increase of fruit of the spirit, rather than increase of fruit of the ground. You need to get your mind off of earthly things and set it on heavenly things.

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

It's definitely not physical. Body of sins is a figure of speech. I've never heard of anyone having to dispose of a physical corpse once they become saved.

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

All that proves is that he was human.
  15. HeRoseFromTheDead

Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

But that doesn't prove that he had a sin nature. Sin nature is a having a spirit that is separated from GOD (spiritual death). Christ never had that.

You don't have to do that. I'll look for it online. Thx

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

You're making GOD out to be a liar. He told them to circumcise their hearts, and there are many examples in the OT of people who did.
  18. HeRoseFromTheDead

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

No, physical circumcision does not continue. Circumcision of the hear continues. You create confusion by conflating and not discerning.

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

You're a very confused or deceitful person. All males in Israel were really circumcised, otherwise they wouldn't have been Israel. Some had circumcised hearts, and some didn't. So that proves that they are two separate things. Paul uses the phrase "we are the circumcision" as a figure of speech...

Should a Christian tithe, what does the Bible say

Physical circumcision and circumcision of the heart are not the same things as proven by the fact that GOD told those who were already physically circumcised to circumcise their hearts.
