    you can only find that in one translation, and it's almost certainly talking about some form of homosexuality. What's effeminate to one may not be to another.

    putting western "traditions" over what the bible says. men don't wear skirts (even if it's a kilt) pants were totally what the disciples wore, they ban men from wearing anything outside the walmart "man Box" women of course can wear anything.

    Not sure if wansvic meant to make this point, but the old father, son, holy ghost things does come across as a bit of an impersonal tradition, rather than a personal one, like reciting an incantation. Now I'm not saying all those pastors had that mindset of course.

    we kind of have to assume that when the bible says to repent, it means within your ability to do so.

    Thing is rape shouldn't be considered exclusively a female issue, they're just the majority of cases, about 10 to 1. However hearsay is that when it happens to guys, 1. it doesn't even get reported for fear of ridicule or appearing weak, unless it's a kid.
