I love this song! It was my theme song after my breakup too. I felt like I could've written it and I sang it all the time. Surrender is a huge thing for a Christian. It can be so hard but we have to give it all into His hands.

I assume this was written in the wake of a broken relationship. I can relate very much. And I can testify God is faithful, even when you can't see any light at the end of the tunnel and you wonder if He cares at all. He does! And yes, His sacrificial love is so much more than any earthly love!

I was thinking today about how important having love for others is in the life of a believer. We can give all our goods to the poor and give our bodies to be burned but if we don't have love it's worth nothing. And only God's love shining through is going cut it!

I definitely agree we should extend grace to those who offend/make mistakes for sure, because we all need it. But the difference is the OP was exhorted a lot. He was being very stubborn and just wouldn't listen.

I think most girls do. But this guy was literally 6 feet tall and complaining about being too short.
