So You've Had Your Single's Breakfast. Do You Still Have Room for Girl Dinner?

Cried with laughter reading this thread, i'm still loving the novelty of a healthy feast or pigging out session when i feel like it, or sweet nothing when i don't. The only time i bother cooking a proper meal now, is when my youngest son stops the weekend to enjoy our similar taste in music and...

    Shortcut/Make it Simple Recipes

Being a veggie, because i loathe factory farming, not because eating animals is evil, i've developed several shortcut recipes. One of my best is a recipe for samosa pastry, which tastes great and makes their creation a doddle. 6 ozs/170g sifted plain white flour 1 tbsp of good quality sunflower...

    Which works justify?

Not an odd mix for the time Gideon, i'd say pretty typical. Think some of his later philosophies probably stemmed from guilt, because of his time in Burma as a member of the Indian Imperial Police. He was pretty troubled. The BBC don't have an independent viewpoint, they are state owned and...

How Do You React When God Tells You Hard Things (or Allows Difficult Things to Happen?)

This post definitely deserves that fabulous panel of yours, you're brilliant at picking seriously relevant scriptures. Have you considered publishing a book of your work? Lovely to see you friend, roamed the forum some and now have a good idea of what helps float my spiritual boat. Not feeling...

How Do You React When God Tells You Hard Things (or Allows Difficult Things to Happen?)

Sure many on this forum, me for sure, appreciate the realistic, thoughtful, very human posts you create. They're a fabulous uplift for people such as me, who feel under the spiritual weather/struggle some at times.

Have tears in my eyes friend, that's an amazing comment.

His thinking on the Spanish Civil War was far more nuanced than that, i read down and out and homage to catalonia in my early teens. He was something of a literary hero to me, think if you're American, you might not know about his antipathy to the BBC. It appears there's still enough umbrage...

How Do You React When God Tells You Hard Things (or Allows Difficult Things to Happen?)

Still newish, less than a year in and beginning to feel at home with the steamrollering of my old life. S'pose i had a couple of weeks feeling how wondrously fluffy and new everything felt, until Murphy's law set in. Most people said it was Satan trying to knock a new believer off their feet...

New to Faith, not to music

No rush friend and sounds interesting, musician? Engineer? Both?! Slapped myself hard as i've realised the perfect solution for the bios update to the b650s, qflash! Just flashed the v2 str8 out of the box, will qflash the ax when i take it out of the case! Disgusted with myself for being...

New to Faith, not to music

Signed back in to comment about your latest upload, was about to go offline. My favourite so far, i think. Great crossover, I'd buy an album based on what i've heard today for sure. Going through your back catalogue.......

    Which works justify?

Ah! Some misunderstanding, don't recall that question, which i wouldn't have had an issue with. It was Cameron demanding he set the rules for how questions be answered, i had an issue with. Won't bother going back over the post as your comment isn't relevant to what i said.

Don't expect you to agree but i do expect fairness. Those who want to shackle the replies of other, are usually the biggest whiners when someone tries to do it to them. I think discussion should be on a level playing field.

    Independent Women

Agree with most of that for sure, i think we were designed and created as a team with enough differences to make us interesting and useful to each other. Think most of us strongly like certain people because we have more in common with them and value my men friends as much as my women friends...

    Independent Women

See what you're saying some, personally the vive la différence sort myself. I'm much more comfortable floating ideas than taking a leadership role, as i can see see so many sides to a situation at times, making a decision can be tough. Whereas men are more likely not to look before they leap...

"You are personable and enjoy chatting" Ditto you Sm, definitely seem the sort of person i view as a soul sister, hope you enjoyed that playlist too. Sure we'll have many interesting chats, we both have enough brain cells to throw a big, fun party. No rush, this week looks livelier than i...

    Which works justify?

Personally fine being called a conspiracy theorist, think it's preferable to being an ostrich with my head buried in the sand. It seems George used his experience working at the BBC as a source for much of 1984, can see why. It was less of the bureaucratic mouthpiece it is now but it was obvious...
