My shifts are almost always busy. Our NICU is a 22 bed unit and we stay pretty full. It has its sad moments. I try to detach from work when I leave for home but its not always easy. I get attached. Still, its so rewarding. Its joyful when they thrive and get discharged home. Makes it all worth...

I work 7 am to 7 pm. NICU nurse with little sleep. I was off yesterday and today. Leaving around 8 am to drive to Asheville.

Ohhh I bake bread as well !! I got mine from Amazon. I have the 8 quart DUO. It saves me so much time. Working 12 hour shifts its not easy to find time to cook. So much better than fast food. May I ask why up so late ?
