Many are called but few are chosen

You know Jesus said there will be people that shall happen to Matt 7:22-23 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew...

Believers Sins Are Forgiven & Washed Away Forever

Yes its a contradiction, its too bad you dont realize that Christ, the Surety of His People fulfilled all the conditions needful to save His people from their sins. Even Faith/Believing are benefits given to them Christ fulfilled all conditions for. Phil 1:29 29 For unto you it is given in the...

Many are called but few are chosen

Individuals did become members of Christs Spiritual Body before the foundation in Election, since He was Gods Elect, so are His members chosen in Him Eph 1:4 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love...

Many are called but few are chosen

I w3as talking about the Lambs book of life. Nobody's name in that book is ever blotted out, thats like saying one of Gods elect can lose their salvation, and thats not biblical.

Believers Sins Are Forgiven & Washed Away Forever

flying dove Yes it is a contradiction. The only pre conditions to Salvation are met by Jesus Christ the Surety of the Everlasting Covenant. So if you mean there are pre conditions apart from the conditions Christ fulfilled, you are in contradiction.

Believers Sins Are Forgiven & Washed Away Forever

No ? Then you have contradicted everything you said, and has made everything to depend on the act of man, his believing act. Thats conditional salvation.

Believers Sins Are Forgiven & Washed Away Forever

I agree with this, but may I ask, are the believers sins forgiven, washed away, before they actually believe ?

Many are called but few are chosen

I actually prefer the kjv of Gal 3:22 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Notice it says by faith of Jesus Christ, which may denote not our faith in Jesus Christ, but Christs faithfulness. See Christs...

Many are called but few are chosen

Its not scriptural. Im speaking about the Lambs Book of Life which I believe are the names of all Gods elect, Christs Sheep, the body of Christ. To say one of them can have their names taken out the lambs book of life, is like saying one of Gods elect can lose their salvation, and the scripture...

Many are called but few are chosen

Rom 11:32 is technically referring to all of Gods Elect from amongst the jews and His Elect from amongst the gentiles, and yes He will show all of them mercy in their unbelief. They are all the vessels of mercy from Rom 9:23-24 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels...

The Saving results of the Death of Christ !

Christ death is a saving death because those for whom He died, or suffered, it brings them to God. That means it effects conversion to God 1 Pet 3:18 18 For Christ also hath once suffered[or died] for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh...

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

God Justifieth the ungodly. What does that word mean: destitute of reverential awe towards God, condemning God, impious God Justifies men who are in that state !

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

renewed It doesnt have to. You said all humans have been given it, and you used as a proof text Rom 12:3 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt...

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

Yes, 1 Jn 5:1 teaches being born again is before Faith/believing. So does Jn 1:12-13 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man...

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

renewed And yet you are trying to do just that with your natural human faith. Human faith is law keeping Matt 23:23 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and...

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

renewed Again it only applied to the seed/children of Abraham. Gal 3:7 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. So still the us is the children of Abraham.
