Now you’re saying he was a good Christian. Was he a good Christian or a bad Christian? Don’t say both. The answer is, he was and is Christian; loved, cherished, forgiven, redeemed and saved. He stumbled severely, but God was always with him.
If people aren’t born again then they didn’t have the Holy Spirit to begin with. But this leads me to ask, does the Holy Spirit grieve people who do not know the Lord?
You’ve described yourself perfectly. Now rather than getting mad and responding with more arrogance and condemnation, you should pray, asking God to bring clarity to you regarding His saving grace which is afforded to everyone who has faith in Jesus Christ.
You talk about people reading...
I apologize for my tone but you seemed to malign lawful gun owners as thugs rather than putting the onus on actual thugs.
My heart is close to yours. I yearn without ceasing for a world where love reigns supreme within every heart. Obviously that’s not reality on this side of Heaven.
It is...
“The thug struggling to make ends meet opens fire on someone”
I’m not a thug nor do I struggle to make ends meet, but if you break into my home, I deem you a catastrophic threat to my family, and that means you’re dead. Bang! Bang! That’s called Darwinism.
My point is Jesus does not have to work at it. His work is complete. None of us who have faith in Jesus will ever be lost. Our names are written in the book of life. It is a done deal.
I don’t see how he has to actively keep us. A football team that has won the game doesn’t have to win the game again; it’s over; it’s already done. Jesus’ work is complete; it’s a done deal; we are His and none of us shall ever be lost.
Of course it’s Jesus. I apologize; when I say the power of the Cross, I mean Jesus; it’s just a cool saying.
Jesus keeps His sheep from being lost because that’s what He desires and that’s what he gets. He thinks it and so it is.
I saw it but stayed clear of it. I’ll apologize when I truly mean it, otherwise my apology won’t be sincere. And when I do apologize, which I will, it will be in a PM and you can rest assured it will be heartfelt with the love of Christ.
