    Oh goody another OSAS thread!

That’s basically what I said. The book of Hebrews was written to Hebrews, and focused on strengthening their faith, by showing them who Jesus Christ is. From chapter 1 the author sets out to do this very thing demonstrating that Jesus Christ is the Lord God of the Old Testament. The reason...

The context is referring to Jews who have departed from the Lord and turned back to Judaism. Those who do that have no way to be brought back to repentance and have no sacrifice for sin. 12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living...

So those who believe for a while are saved for awhile, because at the moment they believe they are saved. 13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 8:13...

I agree for the most part. However, faith without the corresponding act of obedience is dead, or inactive, and will not produce the intended divine result. JUst as a body, without the spirit is dead, or inactive. This is the law or principle by which faith operates or functions. JPT

GOD'S SABBATH AND THE REAL TRUTH OF COL 2:14-17 WHO DO WE BELIEVE GOD or MAN?

Which has zero to do with gathering to worship on a specific day of the week. I am still waiting on the Sabbath folks to provide a scripture from Jesus, the Mediator of the New Covenant, that “commands” the Church to gather on the Sabbath. JPT

GOD'S SABBATH AND THE REAL TRUTH OF COL 2:14-17 WHO DO WE BELIEVE GOD or MAN?

Those who twist the scriptures usually resort to condemning Moses as an example, when the scriptures testify that Moses was faithful in all his house as an example. And Moses indeed wasfaithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 6...

I don’t know what all this has to do with the scripture that teaches us those who believe are saved. 13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 8:13 These...

Why the Adversary HATES the Pre-Tribulation Resurrection-Rapture

Here is the context of 1 Corinthians 15 concerning the resurrection. Paul is teaching them about the coming of the Lord and the resurrection. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who...

The condition for salvation is to believe. 11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.13 But the ones on the rock are those who...

Why the Adversary HATES the Pre-Tribulation Resurrection-Rapture

The Day of the Lord is His coming, to gather His people at the resurrection and rapture. This Day will not come as a thief in the night for the Church, but for the wicked. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. For you yourselves know...
