it took me a minute to remember but you need the max amount of ham power (1500w) to morse code off the moon. im guessing you would need a lot more to get a good video back to earth
Do you realize how much power it takes for a ham operator to just bounce a mores code off the moon much less send a television feed? And that poor guy operating the camera must still be stuck up there.
then why use all that fuel? i understand that the the more fuel the more weight but it used all those tons of fuel for what? it hadd to catchthe speed of the moon, yes, but it also had to reverse that speed to break of the moon orbit.
