Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

Yes, because Jesus is Joshua in Hebrew and Iesous is Greek for Jesus in the English. If you were reading the same texts in either Hebrew or Greek, the name used would not be Jesus, but either of those listed above. It just a different way of saying the same name in a different language.

Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

Yes, I am! And so is everyone else. It's the same person spoken of in a different language. There is no need to be so rigid about this.

    The Resurrection and Funerals

Good day, Corban! I agree with all that you said above, for I came to that same conclusion. However, scripture states that the beast is that angel of the Abyss: "They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months. They were ruled by a king, the...

Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

No! They are the same names for the same person who shed His blood, i.e. we are saved by the blood of Yeshua, Iésous or Jesus.

Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

Matthew 24:15-31, is referring to the Lord's return to end the age and not to the event of the church being gathered. The gathering of the church and the Lord's return to the earth to end the age, are two separate events, with the gathering of the church taking place prior to God's wrath and the...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

What does the law have to do with the identities of the antichrist and the false prophet? God's wrath will be upon the entire earth during that time. And everything that takes place during that time, including all that the beast and the false prophet do, takes place within the time of God's...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

"The beast that you saw— once was, and now is not, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction." The beast above, as the scripture states, is that beast who will come up out of the Abyss "The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

Agreed! It is the events described that will take place in quickness. "After this I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had previously heard speak to me like a trumpet was saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.” After this =...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

Hello ewq1938! First beast = antichrist Second beast = False prophet The second beast/false prophet will be the leader of the woman who rides the beast, which will be that last-day religious system who will utilize/ride the beast to regain her religious authority, which is Roman...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

Preterism is one the most destructive false teachings out there. It does away with the literality of end-time events.

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

Hello Major! I completely agree with you here in that, Revelation 4:1 is what I call a prophetic allusion to where the church is gathered. In support of this, the word ekklesia/church is used 19 times throughout chapters 1 thru 3 and is never used after that and most importantly, does not...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

Good day, Corban! According to the scripture, Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven as a result of the 7th trumpet. In addition, the woman is cared for during the 1260 days, which is the last 3 1/2 years of the seven year period. Since the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments make up God's...

As the angel of the LORD, Jesus appeared as a man, or spoke, to many in the O.T. Do you believe He has appeared since the Ascension?

I don't understand what you are saying. I originally responded to the OP, stating that for Jesus to be appearing to people would defeat His purpose of warning us in His word regarding false Messiah's. He said that the way you would know true Messiah from the false one's, is that He would...

The great "Wonder" "Woman" - Revelation 12

As I pointed out, the woman is not a real woman, she is not really pregnant, she does not give birth to a literal male child, the dragon is not a real dragon, etc. It is symbolism representing what is literal. The woman = The unbelieving nation of Israel The Male Child = 144,000 believing...

As the angel of the LORD, Jesus appeared as a man, or spoke, to many in the O.T. Do you believe He has appeared since the Ascension?

The verse above has nothing to do with the Lord appearing to people. It has to do with a leader going back into the sinful nature represented by eating and drinking with drunkards, etc. and then the Lord coming while he's in that state.

As the angel of the LORD, Jesus appeared as a man, or spoke, to many in the O.T. Do you believe He has appeared since the Ascension?

The problem I see with Jesus appearing to anyone after His Ascension, is because of what He said regarding His return to end the age: "So if they tell you, ‘There He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as the lightning comes...
