First off, OSAS doesn't "teach" anything. We accept the Truth given to us about salvation. Secondly, that "relationship" is established once and for all when we accept Christ and become saved, through the "gift" provided by God through His Son Jesus Christ. That is what a relationship is...

The only "cased closed" is the Shed Blood of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who "closed" the case once and for all on the Cross. It is through Him when we accept Him that the "case is closed."

The works/or no works will be judged. The "salvation" of one's soul has already been taken care of. Salvation is a one time deal. Growing in the Lord and doing worthy works is an ongoing, daily, earthly thing.

Oh yep he will have to face the Almighty and explain how "he" can do something that God thru His Son Jesus has already done. I'd hate to be trying to explain that one to the Lord.

No human being can "do" enough to "be saved", hold onto salvation, keep it up through any human effort. Didn't the Pharisees and the Sadducees proved that? If humans can maintain and keep up their salvation, then Christ died for naught. So tired of people peddling "false" doctrine.

Anyone who believes eternal salvation has to be "kept up" and doesn't believe salvation is a gift from God through His Son Jesus Christ and that all of the work of salvation was done by God through this free gift, is peddling a false doctrine. John 3:16
