When Scripture says God is no respector of persons it's meaning is that He doesn't only bestow His favor upon something that person has done (ie what the world would call worthy). You can be Jew or of Gentile decent, rich or poor, smart or of lesser intelligence, ugly or beautiful etc etc, so on...

I think it used to be all restaurants fed their employees, it was a perk that often helped to compensate for the lower pay (no need to pack a lunch), but as with all good things it usually only takes one to spoil it. Some places still feed their employees free, but it's more of a rarity these...

I would just like to point out there are 5 Solas not 1 or even 2, and they do all go together and have a context... The five solas were not exactly Reformation slogans, but they serve as a good summary of the Reformed faith. Neither Martin Luther nor John Calvin nor any other Protestant...

Because "faith alone" is easily remembered... Faith alone, scripture alone as a saying isn't to negate the fullness of the explanation that goes along with it.

That whole conflict wall thing you have going on isn't Scriptural.. Think about it. The 10 commandments now. The first 5 commandments are all God-facing, and the last 5 are all man-facing. How we are to be towards God and one another. It's why the law can be summed up into 2 simple commands...
