Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

Exceptions do not negate or disprove a rule or law. There are exceptions to many laws, they are called acts of mercy. It is not wise to hope for an exception when purposely ignoring the law. I would think you would know this?

Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

I did not ask for the reason. I asked what was it necessary for? You said it was not necessary for salvation. Okay what is it necessary for?

ThereRoseaLamb---"Baptism isn't needed for salvation" Jesus Christ---"He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

Your question, "How do you get water baptized on a cross?" was absurd. Hence my response. What kind of answer were you expecting???

There are correct opinions and incorrect opinions. Those who act on the correct opinion will have their sins remitted.

This Catholic Church nonsense is getting old. You are simply attempting to mock the remission of sins through obedience to God's command by water baptism. This is pride, this is rebellion to God's Word. Reconsider your words. There are many uses of water as a symbol in the bible. Not that...

Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

Though I agree with much of what you have written, I am not convinced that the verbiage used in Mark 16:16 is expressing this notion. If Jesus was trying to convey that the remission of sins can be done without water baptism, why not just simply state it. "but he that believeth not shall be...

Is this an admission of lawlessness on your part? Water most certainly does clean the inside...if used. Here is the text: Matthew 23:25-29 New International Version 25 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they...

Is it God or the Devil?

Our misfortunes are simply that, misfortunes. There is no need to invoke spiritual powers into everyday events. New International Version Ecclesiastes 9:11 I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or...

I totally agree with your comments. I have noticed you highlight being baptized in the name of Jesus. I was personally water baptized in this manner: "In the name of the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit". Would this be the same?

We all follow a "law". Most follow a law of their own understanding and sensibilities. Others follow the Biblical Law of God. James 1:25 and 2:12 New International Version But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have...

I reread your post#107. You simply wrote "experiences" so I replied as such. So, what is the difference between experiences and biblical spiritual experiences?

Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

I am more then willing to admit that in the Bible there is no verse that uses the exact verbiage: "Paul's sins came into contact with the blood of Christ at baptism". Is this the admission you are looking for?

Personal claims of experiences do not confound me. They are used only after a person realizes their is no biblical backing to their theology. I do not address "claims" of experiences or "claims" of esoteric knowledge. There is no need for either if your message is biblical.

The blood of Christ washes away our sins. Paul's sins were washed away at Acts 22;16. What more is there to say?

Again, how does this change what the scripture state? Have you no defense for your beliefs other then quoting generalities?
