    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Thank you Dino and yes, it was not King David or the Psalmist that said “…but to make a good one better, or out of many good ones, one principall good one but Dr. Miles Smith, however, it shows in reality, that the KJB underwent the process of purifying other earlier English Versions.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

The words of God (verbal) which were already written just as we are reading right now are called scripture. Although I cannot completely defend the ‘Translators to the Reader’ of the KJB, I assumed you have read them very well. However, I haven’t had any idea that the text of the KJB was still...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

I agree with the people being put into safety and from harm but it cannot be said of this is for ever. Yes, when the LORD says " I will set him in safety" then there was a provision of preservation during the time that is when ungodly puff at him. What God preserves fo ever is his promise, his...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

What is being preserve forever here is God's words. Preservation is to keep in its existing state. That is impossible to mankind, whereas, man by nature is corrupt, hence, he will not be keep alive or in safety forever. Only the words of God will be preserve forever. This generation is tied up...

Yes, it is very hard to make an opinion we haven't seen, I'm still checking for any online copy of D.A Waite's Defined King James but haven't seen one up to this time, only a page in the book of Job. God bless

Isah 27:8, Debate is found to be a difficult word here. A look over some newer dictionaries seems to refer to discussion, with reasoning ability or on a logical basis. KJB's meaning of 'measure' is quite correct here for it refers to distance as older dictionaries before KJB confirms this, The...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Job 15:26-27, Collops is perhaps a hard word here and I wonder why the online OED no longer gives the definition of the KJB which refers to fatness and gives us 3 definitions only. My hardcopy of the Shorter OED on Historical Principles confirms KJB which is in No. 4 meaning a thick fat fold in...

KJB Daysman= judge according to the context of Job 9:15 connecting the Job 19:32 about the judgment. This is confirmed in the Collins Dictionary as a judge. The OED may perhaps reference 1530's John's Palsgrave Lesclarcissement de la Langue Francoyse as an arbiter. However, KJB's own definition...

Example- Jeremiah 10:22 “Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.” Okay, I actually used dictionaries and it helps but sometimes KJB has already defined hard words for us and...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

I believe there's a way to treat Archaic words in KJB. Simply just leave them there. If we want to check its meaning, good dictionaries may be consulted. Sometimes, however, KJB already defines hard words found in its context.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Gnostic teaching abounds during the time of the Apostles. 1 John makes a good sense of response to this false teaching. it says "every spirit" which will not confess Jesus Christ "...is come in the flesh is not of God." Corruption is when we omit Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh. 1 John...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

2 Cor. 2:17 King James Bible For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. Perhaps this has been corrupted by many modernist versions. They say 'peddle' which is not. The 'many' refers to the false teachers...
