Agree. That doesn't mean it's not in this world. The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. Every time another soul is saved, more of the kingdoms of this world becomes a part of the kingdom of God.

It seems odd that Jesus' eternal kingdom is being built, but His earthly kingdom is not.

I'm not. I'm only discounting what isn't actually said.

    the Sabbath

Consider what you are saying: that portions of the word of God are unauthoritative.

    the Sabbath

Paul's words are God's words if they are in scripture. The Holy Spirit is the author of scripture. No portion of scripture is more authoritative than any other.

    the Sabbath

Jesus was under the old covenant. He showed how to live under that covenant. He spoke of a new covenant and introduced what was coming, but it wasn't until after His resurrection that the Spirit was poured out, gifts were given abundantly, and the writers of the epistles were given inspiration...

    the Sabbath

It was written by Jews predominantly to Jews about a Jewish Messiah. But you're probably right. It's not Jewish.

    the Sabbath

No it didn't. Most Jews would have remained under the old covenant until the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD. Most didn't believe Jesus was the Messiah. Do you think they suddenly said we'll practice our religion but sorry guys, no more sacrifices? They most definitely did not...

    the Sabbath

Why would Jews stop sacrificing on the Sabbath if they didn't believe Jesus to be Messiah?

    the Sabbath

I know this. It was a rhetorical question in many ways because those who insist that God's laws don't change later are forced to admit that they actually have. But it's disingenuous on their part not to include such passages when they are asked for. And this was my point all along. Those who...

    the Sabbath

You would be incorrect. I care about observing the rest pictured in the Sabbath. I find this fulfilled in Christ and am very grateful to God for what He in Christ has done for me. In the early church there existed those known as Judaizers who followed the Apostle Paul around and tried to undo...

    the Sabbath

Was Paul an apostle? Was he wrong to worship the first day of the week in Acts 20? Seems he was in town plenty long enough to be able to do so? He was Jewish also, right? Didn't he also say let no man judge you in respect to a holyday? Would the Sabbath qualify as a holiday? Guess Paul didn't...

    the Sabbath

That's vague. If I'm going to keep a Sabbath, I want to be sure keep it fully. So far, those who tell me to keep a 7th day Sabbath are unable to tell me what the commandment requires of me. How can you say you are keeping a commandment that you can't even share what the commandment requires?
