Have you experienced the Holy Spirit?

Hello Mary, I became a Christian at age 17 in 1984 and the start into my Christian life was an overwhelming encounter with the Holy Spirit. Before I became a Christian I despised religion, and especially Christianity for being a crutch for those who cannot live a strong and moral life without...

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

Thank you for sharing this. ❤️ Every church setting is different. Are there any people here from similar settings to the one described here? If yes, maybe you have a few suggestions how such churches can reach out to their neighbours. 🌻

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

God bless you and may He give you the right thing to say at any given moment. Keep up the good work. What you are describing sounds like everyday evangelism at its best.

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

You are very wise. ❤️ No one can come to Jesus unless the Father draw them. Totally agree. But I have also learnt that it is such a wonderful thing to go out there in Jesus' name and have meaningful chats with very different people and to bless them in some way or other.

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

No excuses allowed here! Old age very often leads to wisdom. So you could at least suggest a tasty brand of coffee that the not so old ones can offer to folks in the street! ❤️❤️❤️ This thread is all about pooling ideas and sharing them. Not so much about coercing Christians out into the...

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

That is wonderful! It's so good to see that everybody can do something precious if only we make ourselves available ❤️💪❤️💪❤️. I remember doing a similar project in London back in the 90s. That was called Habitat for Humanity and I remember many different churches getting involved in that as...

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

Thank you for clarifying that. Being able to explain the difference between frequently confused terms is always helpful. Having said that, in my question I was referring to events where people belonging to a particular local church or Christian group come outside into their community or...

Do any of you guys take the gospel out into the streets?

I'd love to exchange ideas and inspiration for Evangelism outside of our church buildings. 🥳 We do street worship and free fun days at local parks and we give out free coffee or ice pops or strawberries and cream. We do praise marches and go from door to door offering practical help and/or to...

    Funny English phrases

The fact that you are confessing to that deed is beautiful proof that you have matured since and that you have changed your ways. I am relieved that you obviously no longer pose a threat to the felines around you. And I trust you when you claim that the cat you swung as a child really deserved...

    Baptism of fire.

Yes! I suggest it helps us Christian people to have a sense of humour, because we'd miss a lot of blessings otherwise. In the course of my Christian life I have had a number of unforgettable encounters with God, some of which have been so hilarious that I am careful to share them with other...

    How do you guys evangelize?

Wow! When you care for the homeless you are sharing the heart of Jesus. God bless you for all you do for them! In my church in England we have a thing called Community Table where we have been feeding an increasing number of homeless folks for many years now on a Thursday. Other churches in...
