Agree , 100%. It’s amazing isn’t it ....we fall so easily into comparisons and judgement.

Is it OK to question church doctrine?

I WOW !! There’s an artful plucking from the Gospel tree that conveniently satisfies a personal/doctrinal point of view. Just sayin’.

Is it OK to question church doctrine?

What do you mean by “the body of Jesus ” ? The body is us , here on Earth. This body can (does?) change every time we get together. Some of our body may not be there at every occasion , but its still the body of God.

Let's Discuss Black Lives Matter...The Movement

What? Really? Citing reams of form filling , remembering names and addresses from your past , testing for psychological tendencies , interviews based on what you’ve written , and your references . What’s the big deal? All of this and more is required for any job , other than flipping...

Should A Judge Check Their Faith At The Door?

Oh my goodness...how long did it take to survey the hundreds of Catholics in the world on this one question? How many languages was the questionare printed in? (Hundreds?) I hope you’re not still thinking that all Catholics believe in Mary, do you? Oh no...say it ain’t so.

Calling Jesus "Lord,' without choosing to obey Him with one's life, is useless and is not able to save anyone.

Dear MyrtleTrees: I hear the passion in your voice regarding your comments. That is obvious. Please continue with your efforts to learn from God’s word and to hear His voice. Please be open to how He can teach you His ways. The issue I need to share with you is the lesson we saw at the cross...

New CDC report shows 94% of COVID-19 deaths in US were falsely labeled

Wow! Thats an interesting extension from what was actually said : 94% of the people that died , wouldn’t have necessarily died from whatever else they had. You’ve clumped them all together as if they would have. C-19 may have contributed to their poor health , but that didn’t necessarily mean...

Bible pictures of Jesus in the grave for 3 days

Well, that seemed to go as well as it could. Congrats to all involved. The opening call for civility was aptly demonstrated. God Bless you all.

    The sin of refusing sex

A guide as to what to do in a specific set of circumstances. Husbands and wives are in NO way to restrict access to their bodies for their spouse. “EXCEPT“ during this brief time of prayer. This last reference talks about “ a loveless marriage”. How dat?

    Not By Works

Dear HisHolly : apparently , your right. You cannot throw out works. But you should keep on trying. Rest in His perfected sacrifice. Jesus did it all for you. Be blessed.

Pakistani court rules 14-year-old Christian girl must stay married to her abductor

Dear mar09: The forgiveness part I understand. No problem. But there’s no way they don’t know how wrong they are. They are enjoying the benefits of their spiritual leader‘s interpretations.

Eternal Security - Most dangerous words ever preached: Once saved, always saved.

Interesting questions. Seemingly, you have the answer. No matter what your opinion is , “millions” of believers are wrong and you are right. God does save through His “goodness and mercy“ and this an ongoing inclusive offer. He wants us in with him. Once you are born again , you are in. It’s not...

Christians and the Law of Moses

This interesting waste of time and typing between Corbin and Lenna (and whomever else), could be considered as a study in missing the point , I think. This energy you’ve expended in trying to explain how YOU see it : took away from the power we could have had together, (Scriptural reference) ...

Is anyone else struggling with mental health issues right now?

Your message sounds more like a learned repetition of someone who can’t fully rely on the Grace of God. #1 It’s not scriptural. Reams of scripture ( both OT and NT) support the fact we can not go anywhere that Holy Spirit isn’t . He’s there with us, He’s there before us. His job is to comfort ...
