What you say is probably true up to Mat 24:22. But Matt 24:23 onward applies to times after the 1st Roman-Jewish War.

    Image to the beast?

why do you automatically assume it is not already here? You mean to say that the whole world is not deceived? Revelation 12:9: And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and...

Why Daniel's 70th Week does NOT support Jesuit "Left Behind" Futurism

This is some good research you have brought up. Seems Luther saw the whole of Rev 13 referring to the Papacy and its connection to the State, or empires. This is what I see Luther has referring to: The first beast is "state" the second beast is "church". One example of this would be...

God calls many people but few people choose Him. OR God calls many people but few people He chooses. WHICH IS IT?????? Here is looking at it two ways: It is a chicken or the egg type situation. Which came first? 1) Did God call me and chose me first, then I chose him second? Or 2) Did God...

Attacks on the Rapture: a popular pastime among some Christians

Enoch did not see the 2nd death. But yes the wages for sin are death, even for Enoch. And as for your unmerited confidence on a future rapture or event please keep in mind Proverbs 27:1 Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

Attacks on the Rapture: a popular pastime among some Christians

Yes, of course, but this does not address what I wrote. You here are saying Enoch needed the sacrifice of Christ to enter heaven. So then yes, Enoch was a sinner. And the wages for sin is death. So Enoch died, he died the 1st death. What Enoch did not experience was the 2nd death.

Attacks on the Rapture: a popular pastime among some Christians

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Did Enoch not sin? If Enoch did sin then Enoch did not pay the wages for sin!

Attacks on the Rapture: a popular pastime among some Christians

Most Exclusive Brethren have traditionally been described as "Darbyite" as they adhere in the main to the original doctrines and teachings of John Darby, and do not accept the concept of a doctrine that evolves through the teachings of successive leaders. Like the Exclusives, Open Brethren have...

Attacks on the Rapture: a popular pastime among some Christians

So show or tell me how it was debunked. Because this is what is reported everywhere on internet. and is this statement "debunked" too? Pre-tribulation rapture theology was further popularized in the United States in the early 20th century by the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference...

Why Daniel's 70th Week does NOT support Jesuit "Left Behind" Futurism

There is a BIG difference between: 1) believing that Jesus will come back, and 2) creating a detailed, but false narrative on how it will unfold These detailed narratives on how the end times will unfold are bunk. OR do you not even question there veracity?
