Your mother sounds like a clever lady. She is dead right about the vaccines - if she receives them, they most likely will kill her. They are also a sin, in my mind.

I pray that God will continue to strengthen her with wisdom and hope she will meet her grandchildren. :)
A well known side effect of COVID is death. Calling vaccination sin is being judgemental. It's none of your business. I'm 70, had my first shot and I'm fine. I've done this to protect my dear friend, who has problems with her lungs and slight dementia. She won't get the vaccine because she won't leave her house.

The first vaccine was developed just before the 1900's. 100's of millions of people have been spared terrible illness and death because of vaccines for various diseases that once were a death sentence for many. I don't how Christians can jump to false conclusions based on lies, half truths, misinformation and deception. God requires that we love truth.

My advice to anti vaxxers is go get the illness. You'll get it someday anyway. Don't go to hospital when you get sick. That would be dishonest. Spread it around as best you can. Don't keep it to yourself, that would be selfish. That's if you survive, of course.

Will send her a thought. Good to hear that she has strong faith. So happy for her being strong and not fear death, and question her faith. And I am pretty sure that fetuses have been used in developing the vaccines. It does not matter for me, if they do not use it in production, if they used them in the research. So for me it is not only validating abortion, it is parttaking in abortion. Very serious, big nono, worse than voting for politicians who want to expand abortion"rights". Because you do something personal. Speak to her, hear her out, this is not crazy at all, basic faith.
Yes, aborted foetus cells were used. It's not like organs were harvested or an infant murdered to enable the vaccine to be produced. The link below link gives a bit of the history. The cells from the 60's are still being grown in the lab. They are not human beings. They are from human beings. That's a vital distinction. If someone was on life support while involuntarily donating cells, that would be different.

Sounds like you need to stop eating sausage then. I gave you a reason for die hard christians, accept it or not. The entire process must not be against scripture. Some take it leteral. Some put out a link here, where some professor or scientists explained that there were 2 babies aborted in the 60s, and those cells are still in use. Was one on the very left who put out that link, not from a rightwing source.

Why are you making an argument about it? I just tell you some christians reason. Trying to get a win in what you think is a debate? It is the prayerforum, it is about this persons mother. Either we pray for her as he asks, or we give advice on how to change her mind, or understand her. He must understand her reasons to change her mind anyways. If you read the OP again, she does not have fear, she has convictions and courage. She denies herself the vaccine for moral reasons, because she has her view on abortion. If you want to debate, there is another category for that. This is against the point of the category I think. Prayer section is only wellwishing and advice
What I explained was that there are other options available that have no human derived cells used whatsoever...(mRNA vaccines)

And that anyone's conscience would be clear if she chose to actually use one of those options.

And I further explained how promoting fear and mistrust are something that Jesus most strongly condemned when someone is trying to do good.

Now you may not like those facts...but they are the facts.

I'm not trying to debate anything. Just relate truth.

It is a dealbreaker for me, along with some other dealbreakers. But this is only about some person and his mother. Not me, not you. We can put me not getting it on other stuff and leave their issue alone, he is seeking prayer and advice only, not debate. I did not know about this till I opened a link on this forum. I had not taken a position on it for me yet. Have not had time yet. Last in line here, apart from the younger kids, who I hear will now get it. Only been able to get it for like 2-3 weeks, not american. Pool 4 or 5. The healthissues raised does not concern me, the mandates in the US does, but does not apply to me, I can choose.Do not like to be manipulated to get it because I am christian, instead of simply being asked to get it, which would be enough. I would appreciate if people just could tell me that they feared I could die if I did not get it, and if I would do it for their comfort. But this fearmongering, and all sorts of tales about what might happen, just assuming I chose it away, is no good. They try to trick me and go along with a lie. I do not fear it, but I an get the jabs for them if they want. If I do it, I invalidate my faith, an ask would be enough. Fearmongering about the mark of the beast, and other stuff, is dumb. The fetal tissue is not, I never knew that. Still have not made up my mind, if it gives people I love comfort, that might be enough still. New info, haver not thought about it yet, just seems wrong. And I can still do that for them, sincer I have not asked forgiveness yet, so I can put it on my list. I think it would not invalidate my soul, but am not sure.

Your link does not help in the matter. They were taken from people who was aborted. I am not OK with that. We do not have to agree. Not an antivaxxer, before I was made awere of this. Still not that. Others do what they feel is right, as do I. Not decided yet. And I am just one person, so what does it matter? All the people I meet closer than 2 meters without masks, are doublejabbes, so what does it matter? Only risk myself by prorastinating, not others. This is a prayer thread. Please make a thread if you want to discuss, wrong place. Will join later if you wish, but just doing replies for now, since I have been out for a while and have some replies.Do not assume, many a people are donotknowers, and it just takes longer.

A well known side effect of COVID is death.
A well known side effect of the covid vax is also death. In fact, unless you have comorbidities, the cure is deadlier than the disease.

Calling vaccination sin is being judgemental. It's none of your business.
Saying a sin is not a sin is licentious. It's none of your business what I believe to be a sin. So don't be a hypocrite. :)

I'm 70, had my first shot and I'm fine.
No you're not. You only think you are.

I've done this to protect my dear friend, who has problems with her lungs and slight dementia. She won't get the vaccine because she won't leave her house.
Sadly, your vaccination will pose more of a risk to your dear friend than if you had left what God designed well alone.

The first vaccine was developed just before the 1900's. 100's of millions of people have been spared terrible illness and death because of vaccines for various diseases that once were a death sentence for many.
No they haven't. That's a bald-faced lie. Vaccines cause death, and most "vaccine-preventable" diseases were 90% or more eradicated before magic vaxxes conveniently arrived after the fact to "save the day".

I don't how Christians can jump to false conclusions based on lies, half truths, misinformation and deception.
Search your heart. You will find the answers to this question.

God requires that we love truth.
So why don't you?

My advice to anti vaxxers is go get the illness. You'll get it someday anyway.
Yeah, got it already. Yawn. It's just the flu.

Don't go to hospital when you get sick.
Why not? Do we get our taxes back if we're not using the facilities we paid for? I'd be most happy to claim back my taxes and not use the rubbish and useless government services it is said they pay for.

That would be dishonest.
Not it wouldn't.

Spread it around as best you can.
The vaxxed spread the disease moreso than those refusing the kill-shot.

Don't keep it to yourself, that would be selfish.
Meh. It sounds like you're doing your share of spreading it around, like all the other vaxxed "super-spreaders".

That's if you survive, of course.
Lol. 99.997%. I like those odds. Safer than the vax. Like I said, I've had covid already, and I'd sooner have it again 100 times more than get the so-called vax once. :)

Correct fetal cell line of many decades ago, not fetal tissue.

Was the baby aborted for this purpose?

No

As well, the"hot and cold" reference is not connected to this moral/ethical issue.
I couldn't say why the babies were aborted, but it is still a matter of conscience regardless. Plenty of wanted babies also must have died during that time, stillborn etc, but yet they were not used for this experiment... perhaps because it would have been immoral? Perhaps they were considered too precious to the parents, to get away with treating them as experimental resources.

I think all moral issues require hot or cold attitudes, but you are fully entitled to disagree of course.

There are moral/ethical issues regarding many of the things you own.

If one wants to be truly and consistently "hot" on all of it one would have to live completely off the land, no medical treatments etc., etc., and not be involved in any sort of monetary transactions with the world cause I can guarantee you many people have been direclty murdered to provide other people with certain products.

If you own any gold there is a possibility that someone was murdered to protect that gold mine.

Yes, we could stop all vaccinations and many treatments based on this supposed immoral use of donated healthy fetal cells from an aborted fetus and we can return to the turn of the twentieth century when grandparents were a rarity since most people died before the age of fifty and infant mortality rates averaged 100 to 1000 every live birth.

If Christians want to claim this moral high ground that is fine by me, I have no problem with it even though I do not see it as based on anything Biblical, but they should go live in communes away from the rest of society or try to immigrate to Japan where some none fetal cell vaccinations are developed, cause without mass vaccination a lot of people would be dead because of those who refused based on their "hot" choices.

Just my view.

You anti-vaxxers really need to understand that by not getting vaccinated, you are causing the virus to mutate and get worse, and kill lots of people!

You are just making Christians look stupid, and society is correctly perceiving that Christians are actually killing people by refusing to get vaccinated. You're concerned about a couple of aborted fetuses decades ago, but you're killing people right now.

Do you really think non-Christians find this behaviour attractive? Or does it make them hate us even more? I of course know we shouldn't care what they think, but we should also want them to receive salvation. By spouting the kind of nonsense that you are, you are literally pushing the whole world away and making us look like a crazy cult.

Thanks again to everyone who has prayed for my mother!

People who haven't taken the vaccine have also prayed for your mother...
and I think what makes Christians look stupid to a lost and dying sin sick word, is our lack of respect and love for one another, our lack of bearing with one another, our judgemental condemnation of one another, just because we have differing convictions. Isn't that what Paul was dealing with way back? Nothing has changed sadly.

Jesus said by "this" love we have for one another, this love that overrides all such differences that would naturally seperate and segregate people, politics, ethics and so on, this forgiving, servant, passionate love that we have for one another (because we are members of one body), that the world will know Jesus Christ came in the flesh, and that we are His disciples.

It is certainly not evidenced by our slating one another for differing beliefs on doctrinal differences, politics, preferences, opinions or our beliefs about taking a vaccine.

I think that it is better to show the world our "foolish love" based on the simple gospel. And yes the world will find cause to hate Christians regardless of what we do. There are plenty of anti vaxers in the world, lost and on their way to hell and there are plenty of pro vexers on that very same path. I am sure they all hate some of us equally. But that is not the issue. The issue is do we love one another despite our differing beliefs on such matters? Do they see that we aren't cutting off, belittling and despising one another because of such things... unlike the world?

That is the testimony that counts. That is what makes us different from the lost souls of this world. We are not here to make them love us.... they crucified Christ, they mocked Christ and the gospel is foolishness to those who perish, so lets not bring the world's opinion of believers into it. Let us be the example the world doesn't have, they can bite and argue and protest one another views all day long, but we don't have to, because we should have a better way.

Update: In the last week or so, my mum has seemed really sharp and focused and of sound mind.

Today she was vaccinated!

Thank you again to everyone for your prayers. This prayer has been answered!

Murder is also wrong. Arguably, this is what anti-vaxxers are doing by spreading this virus.

Yes, murder is wrong, you should not murder. I hope your heart is clear no matter what, how it ends if you convince people to get the vaccine or not. And everybody else. Calling people who have not decided for antivaxxers, and attack them, may make people reject the vaccine. Side with antivaxxers in solidarity since they are so persecuted. Counterproductive to persecute groups on christian forums. Jesus asked, he never forced or cohersed people.

Your posts didn’t age very well:

The vaccinated now account for a majority of COVID deaths.

https://technofog.substack.com/p/the-vaccinated-now-account-for-a

Also, they never tested to see if the “vaccine” prevents transmission. So with both these points, it absolutely would have been better for you, your mom, and every other human, not to get the lethal injection:

Your logic is flawed. If 100% of people are vaccinated then every COVID death is of a vaccinated person. And if the injection is lethal, I should be dead 3 times over, and so should most Australians. Putting your blatantly false guilt trip on people is shameful.

Lol!

Simply amazing you are trying to use logic!

Logic dictates, that the SEVENTY percent (not 100 percent) that took the lethal injection, posing as a vaccine, wouldn’t account for ANY deaths!
Much less 58%!

Because you get a vaccine so you WON’T get a disease! Did people actually forget that’s the whole point in getting a vaccine?

Why doesn’t it bother you that they purposely and repeatedly lied to you that by getting the vaccine you couldn’t spread it? Much less get it.

It’s cool.
Thats how conspiracy theorists find peace maybe. Through venting Or resurrecting old threads.
