amen I remember this happening about once a decade growing up we moved a lot.

Paul’s teaching Christian’s how to look at Abraham’s story beginning in genesis 12 to see thier father in faith and the original king standing promises made concerning them

Paul’s letters are filled with explainations of how the ot should be understood in light of Christ and the gospel as well as Jesus words in the gospel or peters words or johns ect the Holy Ghost was in them just as he was in the prophets and Moses befor that who penned the ot according to his Will and spirit the new should interpret the old and then I feel like the new would be understood like the veil was removed

For the newcomers, no one here has claimed there is more than one plan of salvation, or a different way for the Jews, or Jews are saved because they are Jews. These things have been debunked dozens of times in these threads.

I agree only one plan of salvation but my understanding of replacement theology is not about God's method of salvation in His plan but what His purpose is for those who are saved. I am no expert on the differences between Replacement and Covenant theology but as I understand God's purpose, Israel has an Earthly purpose and the Church has a heavenly purpose otherwise why create both a new Earth and heavens? Why not simply create a new heavens only if we are to all end up in the same place doing the same thing?

To be honest I thought the first convert was Adam but what the hey. I struggle to comprehend the Lord's plan for me on a single day at times let alone His plans for everyone for eternity.

My desire for everyone is their salvation, Romans 1:16 KJV
My regrets sometimes come to mind of not being bolder and trying harder to lead my Jewish relatives to Christ. I think of them fondly and cherish the memories when they were alive. The same as I pray for Jordan Rubin's salvation who taught me a tremendous amount about nutrition and how to be an effective Health Coach.
Likewise I prayed with tears for Dr Peter Breggin. Even though his first name is Peter, he is Jewish. He's friendly towards his Christian friends and Jesus as a prophet, but he needs to get saved.

My view is different perhaps than any others on this forum. I never insisted anyone agree with me.
I just think that there's room to think that God will not be using national Israel as it exists now, to evangelize the world. My view is that the 144,000 in Heaven who are virgins and of the distinct 12 tribes, will be sent to the Earth as well as the 2 witnesses.
This would explain the national identity of the distinct tribes since whoever is here now is genetically not relevant.
This would also be an explanation for the other distinctions not seen among the nation state. It would take a long discussion to get into details, but that's where I'm coming from.

Hagee on the other hand teaches that Israelis are saved apart from faith in Christ. I don't think that anyone here agrees with him, but he's the chosen pastor representative of much of Christian Zionism.

I have heard that Hagee preaches that, but I haven't heard him preach it himself. I don't believe you are an Antisemitic person. We need to be a witness to every lost person we come in contact with. We don't want to see one soul lost.

The problem here is that some read the end of the book and not the details that lead up to the end.
To fulfill prophecy a temple is built for anti-Christ to sit in....now who is looking to build a temple? The Arabs? The Christians?
I think it would point to the jews. Now where is it to be built? France? Egypt. Anywhere?
Well certainly we as Christians have no use of a temple but God's word says it is to be so.

So let's connect the dots.....wanted......a certain temple building people needed to build a temple in a certain place at a certain time.

This nation, ruled by the Messiah, continued to grow. That fulfilled (and is being fulfilled even today) the prophesy in Isaiah where it reads “..and of the increase of His government there will be no end.”

Now, some might say “Well, this is the church. This isn’t a nation. God is just building His church.”

This same Peter, the one who spoke the words in Acts 2 above, would later write to Jew and Gentile (in the flesh) believers this…

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Do you see that? Not just the church, but a holy nation. And how did this nation appear? Let’s read on…

“Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

The reality of their national identity appeared at once. They went from “not a nation” to “God’s chosen nation” by repentance and belief in Christ Jesus, their ruler. This happens instantly for all who receive Him.

I know James Tour.. He is a very famous chemist and one who investigates the origins of life.. I watched more then a few of His video's.. I don't always agree with his POVs but for the most part He is a very knowledgeable person on science and on God..

I have never accepted the replacement theology in my life.. The Holy Spirit has always been working on all peoples since the time of Pentecost, bringing Jews into the Gospel truth, There has always been Jews in every generation since the times of Jesus that have come to accept the Love of the truth.. Sometimes it has been a trickle, Sometimes it has been significant.. Ironically now that Israel, the homeland for Jews has been established, the amount of Jews coming to accept Jesus and Messiah has increased.. Jews born into a state of relative security seem to be more willing to give the New testament a genuine consideration and as they do they discover just how truly Jewish the Gospel actually is..

There is one olive tree and one kingdom of Christ which is the true Israel of God.
That is also why replacement theology is not a thing.
The house of Israel continues to this day in Christ, while modern Israel strives to provide the gory "entertainment".

There are so many issues with Jeremiah 31 and your view but one glaring one is this line in verse 9:

"For I am a Father to Israel,
And Ephraim is My firstborn."

This should give you context clues that the proclamation has a spiritual meaning, not a physical one.

First, who is the father to Israel? If you say it is God then you are in the spirit. Today, the Jews do not talk about God as their Father. They talk about Abraham as their father. If you say it is Isaac (because Israel was the name for Jacob) then you confined yourself to a natural lineage. Let's continue:

"And Ephraim is My firstborn."

Who is this? Do you think the Holy Spirit just throws things into prophecies for shock value? No, He's taking what is true in the eternal and communicating it to men who live in the temporal.

In the natural, Ephraim is not the firstborn of anyone. He was Joseph's SECOND son. And get this: he was both a Israelite (Joseph) and a Gentile (Ephraim)! So we should know we are dealing with a specific type of people. Actually, a specific person.

This is the person: Christ. I'll get to Him in a bit.

First, Isaac is the father to Israel. And we know that God's people are called after Isaac, the son of promise. This is what the Spirit showed Paul about 600 years after Zachariah 31 was written:

This is the apostle Paul: "But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed."

So, how do we know we are dealing with spiritual truths and not natural lineage? Because of the next sentence "And Ephraim is my firstborn." This is a spiritual reality. The firstborn would typically receive the estate of the father. Here, this is talking about a spiritual estate that affects the whole world.

So, we are to see that God establishes Himself as the father of the Israel. From this we should know that we are dealing with something in the eternal coming to vest in a certain people group: Ephraim. But if we expand our view to a view from heaven we see that the Spirit is telling Zachariah about the security of Christ's estate as the firstborn of God.

Christ, the only begotten of the Father, appears as Ephraim in the passage because He is the Jew and Gentile as one man before God.

Just as Paul wrote: For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, ... and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

And check out the last line "And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near."

In Zachariah 31 we have a message of peace being delivered to those who are near and to those who are far off!

There are so many things like that in Zachariah 31 because it's a message central to the reality of Christ and what that means for all of mankind.

Exactly....you can't exclude the nation or people's and read revelation proper. Its focus is on the land and people.
So the land and people had to return and be established in order for revelation to be fulfilled. Gods word became flesh is referring to jesus but also imo this includes the prophecies spoken by him.
Prophecy is one of the testimonies of God that is for believers and non believers. To show the more surer word that there is a divine intervention between God and man.
Jesus told us to watch so that to me means i will see it, it will appear.

Another interesting thing that follows prophecy is the turmoil in Iran. The protesting and violence happening right now.
God has started imo to set his throne in Iran. Yes also a throne (metaphor) in Iran.

Jer 49:34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
