"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life." -- I John 5:13 ESV

I know.
Yes you know at this moment because at this moment you believe in the name of the Son of God. However you don’t know and can’t know that 10 years from now you will have the same belief. Only God knows your future. Many people have said the same thing then later fell away.

I knew the moment I believed in the name of the Son of God. I've known every moment since then until now. I know right now. I will know every moment after now until the day I die.

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us." -- 1 John 2:19 ESV

I hope I believe upon His name til the day I die. That is my hope which is all we have for the future in which we do not know. But brother you do you. God bless.

If, after praying for people for many months, they refuse to be of good faith, I ask them. If you find I am right and you find out you are in dead faith, will you change. Everyone one of them wouldn't answer the question and they still refuse to change.
that's similar to catholics. i can't tell you how many catholics i witnessed to & they remain steadfast in their false faith.

They leave themselves there. The ball is in their court.

You are not loving them like God does who isn't willing that aby perish. You're like this:

The Parable of the Unforgiving (Wicked) Servant

Matthew 18:23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

26 “At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ 27 The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

28 “But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.

29 “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’

30 “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.

32 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

God had mercy on you. You should be merciful to other brothers and sisters in Christ. You can't immediately assume that they are already condemned while they are still alive. We're suppose to encourage and admonish and pray for each other to the very end of our lives. Not to be gleeful that they might be forever, permanently condemned.

By the way, God brought that scripture to mind about you, so give careful thought to its warning if you supposedly believe AND obey sound doctrine.

Being merciful is leaving these people, who admit they will never change, to their own destruction. God does not want us to perish with them.

You don't know how God wotks in every life. You don't see everything like God does. You can't assume at this moment that they will remain in a state of unbelief. What's more disturbing is that you are happy that they might be condemned. Jesus CRIED over Jerusalem. Big difference between just believing sound doctr8ne and actually obeying and living it out.

You are the one talking about being happy they are condemned; I am sure glad I am not talking like you.

I am encouraged by the fact that God knows his own sheep: "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. "
Also: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: " Also: "he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. "
One that I like quite a bit, since I like birds, is: "I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. " To me, this is parable language in which the 'fowls' are pictures of believers and 'the mountains' are pictures of the Lord and his kingdom. To me, this means God knows all the believers of the Lord in his kingdom.

"As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the LORD surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever. "

I know this is not a direct answer to the question but I like that the word 'know' is used.
