Where would we be without those false teachers out there? Would we see a homogenized sameness with nobody challenging the hearts and minds of the masses to greater heights? Fractured structure within religion is somehow a necessary element given the Lord has allowed it to go on without driving into the earth a sameness where indifference would flourish moreso than it is now.
Where it's true the Lord prayed the Father would make all Israel one, which is perfectly sensible given the factions that competed for followers within a nation of kings and priests, the priests of this world must be united in mind and heart; which will manifest in the Millennial kingdom under the iron rod rule of Christ Jesus.
The reason, however, in this dispensational era of grace, the rest somewhat need the critical thinking drive that arises from differences in beliefs is so that we don't all fall lock-step into whatever has the greatest appeals lobbed into the world system. Granted, Satan uses false doctrine as a weapon of division, no doubt, but we also have one easily overlooked promise in scripture, and that being all things working for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. This is clearly a division from all other belief systems ofnthe world of competing voices clamoring for their fair share of a following.
The body of Christ has differences in our agreements upon some key doctrinal distinctives, but being unified in Christ connects us to those we sometimes don't even suspect as being a brother in Christ. May we strive only for His Thoughts and His Ways, no matter how much higher they are than ours. That is THE way we rise above the pettiness of our own ways to be filled with a Way that is above all others.
Perhaps not much of a sage narrative worthy of publishing, but it's my hope it drives your thoughts higher today than what they would have been otherwise. The cacophony and clamor helps keep Satan from gaining total control overall.

I sooo agree. While they have shown themselves to be the false teachers Yeshua speaks of, they are keeping those away who truly want to teach God's Word... THE TRUTH OF IT... from the ORIGINAL writers... not their lies, additions and twisting of it to fit their own agendas. I am one such pastor. I have walked out of so many false churches. so, I "preach online". What God gives me, I put out there and ask God to "go for it" in bringing readers to the truth. I get absolutely nothing for it (actually I pay into it myself), but the joy of knowing that SOMEONE is getting the truth, and prayerfully I ask that some be touched by it and come to receive Yeshua onto the throne of their hearts. Amen! Shalom, Shalom, all.
Have you studied from the original writers? i mean the hebrew and greek? Do you know how many additions and exclusions are in the KJV?

Antagonists out there will always claim they study the Greek and Hebrew, which doesn't mean much these days. As an Israeli who was once a Messianic Jew who used the tragic Cepher and kissed the Torah scroll as it passed by each service, along with praying toward Jerusalem, I left that behind along with Judaism as well. Then, gravitating toward Hebrew Roots, I also found that to be dry and dead in its bankrupt doctrines and practices, which I found to be comprised mostly of Gentiles pretending to be Jewish.
You appear to have done the right thing, which is to walk away from organized religions with real estate. Communal building possession seems to have a cultic spirit about it that moves in and paganizes so much of it with the drive toward group-think; where men with a leadership bent, as opposed to a servant's heart, vie for position and authority, some with women at the helm...!
When the masses cease seeing this world as a battleground, where every individual on this planet is surrounded by battles of which most remain oblivious, the enemy of the soul flourishes in deadening and killing any life that may have characterized the gathering where mutual edification does NOT take place as the people bow their knees to the God of "order" and "decency," which realistically is a definition of mere RELIGION. Instead, they settle for the pathetic, warm fuzzies that most mistake for true body life they, strangely, find to be invigorating...as an outflow of their manic bent upon positive thinking in the place of any real experience with body life through mutual edification in the presence and power of Holy Spirit led interconnectedness and vitality.
I heave yet to meet one individual with the power to overcome the level of impossibility that destroys meaningful fellowship that is so powerful a paradigm fueled by looking at the backs of each other's heads. I have yet to meet the man who ever overcame that weakness in gatherings, empowered by the use of mass sheepdom thinking while appealing to the bandwagon spirit, all of which feeds into deadening the people's application of any critical thinking toward the audience-style gathering and it's robbery of their birthright in Christ Jesus to actually BE the family of God toward one another in the main gathering as opposed to the band-aid, programmatic approach that they call "community" or "cell group" meetings in homes. They never stop to think about what that modern modeling really is all about. It screams at us all, "Get the hell out of this sanctuary you support and go out there to your homes to carry on in such a manner as is not allowed in here."
So, yes, there are the doctrinal dichotomies AND the deadness within programmatic dichotomies that so many mistake for true body life in Christ.

I was going to post but thought.. lets see what the OP said and...its something negative. Do we care what how Christ looks at this? Preacher asking Christ .. this is all true about a different preacher and why He has not judged this man with fire and brimstone (his words) the lord said "oh but do you know all the good he does for me". No you don't and you don't care yet you say you care about truth?
What believer does not look for the good someone does? Yes yes our sin our mistakes our thoughts that no one sees knows about .. that's covered by the blood of Yeshua/Jesus Christ but not the ones we personally don't like and disagree with. So much of that silly I call silly doctrine is because it does not touch salvation. See I went looking into so many of these and I wanted to know 1st hand no by what some video said or some other preacher said. First I looked for which every believer should is..
"Yeshua/Jesus Christ came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds sin was buried rose from the grave 3rd day seated at the right hand of the Father the only way to the Father" and they believe confessed that. It is shocking to me how many believers toss this out today as proves nothing. Odd because "you" all here believe confess this yes? Your the real Christian but .. sorry how is not? The one that bought land sold land.. mady some much money..before he was preacher. The man that was very rich before Christ found him and proved he did many things.. he did not the Church for him but "Christians" didn't care for that proof.

I repented". Or how they go help ..they many take truck loads of stuff to fires floods tornados, earthquakes.. it was mind blowing. So I went searching.. wow the do this all the time and never tell anyone... you know why only GOD gets the glory. Then what they do out side the USA. How can some that say that "say" they love the lord Jesus with all their heart soul and mind....and love their neighbor as them selfs..... not know this not look for the good? Well put. These differences may not be good, certainly most of the time, but they can help to make us stop and analyze ourselves and what we believe. "Did this come from the Bible, what someone told me or what I would like to be true...?"
It's making good of a bad situation.... I agree. We should always look at ourselves and test what we hear with God's word...
Unfortunately, the structure of the church does not lend itself to a "Berean' attitude. Anyone who questions the pulpit is likely to be ostracised. Been there, done that.
I agree that the correct response is to "test everything and hold fast to that which is good". 1 Thessalonians 5:21. All who are born again have a spirit that is alive to God. We should be able to discern when something is off. We then need to seek to know exactly why, according to God's word.
Agreed. As for questioning the pulpit, of course it depends on how we ask, but if it's necessary, it's necessary. If you're ostracised, it says a lot about the church/leader.
What I see is the fact that anyone and everyone can now call themselves anointed and start a new non-denominational church.

They have a way with words that attract others who are very naive, unlearned in the Scripture, and don't like the truth when they are taught it.
Every person that leads a local church should be questioned on all things he believes and teaches.
Of course those doing the questioning must be grounded in the truth.
Ask who has taught them? Who do they read after? Who do they listen to? Whose videos they watch.
If they cannot answer or refuse to answer, just walk away and mark them so others will know.

I had a run in nearly 50 years ago with the then pastor of the church I was attending. I met him again a while ago. He's a different man. He's nearly 90, with still more energy than I have but much softer in heart. I was no paragon of virtue myself back then. But I knew his teaching was wrong and I let him know.
God has a sense of humour. While I was a member, the pastor was building a retirement village. This was in the 1970's. It was an amazing venture for a church of about 150 people. There are now 400 units and about 650 residents. My wife and I are among them.
That's great. I hope he managed to reflect a lot over the years, perhaps he's improved his ways and remains as true to God's word as he can if God did soften his heart... Funny how you bumped into him again after so much time in the retirement village. God is always at work!
