Given that God knows everything about us.
He knows our past and he knows our future.
He knows us before we are born.
He has created us in our mother's womb.
He knows we will sin even before we are born.
So when we sin, get it wrong, are not loving are selfish etc.
Is he disappointed with us?
If you say no why do feel that way?
If you say yes why do you feel that way?
Yes, was all through the first Testament, known as Old Testament now. Not in the risen Son
therefore, I see we not under Law anymore, and see to uphold law as good for Father, Daddy, PaPa to perform the love and mercy of Son through his children that are willing, otherwise it will not get done correctly, at least to me, thanks
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Cor 13:4-7
4 Charity suffereth long,
and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Cor 13:13
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these
is charity.
Living Bible
1 Cor 13:4-7
4 Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, 5 never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. 6 It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. 7 If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.
Living Bible
1 Cor 13:13
13 There are three things that remain—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
God is love that overcame this world of sin for us all to see 1 John 4:18 thank you
That is done to accept and be reconciled back to God in thanksgiving and praise (2 Cor 5:17-20)
Has nothing to do with anyone taking this truth for granted as the Corinthians had done at first, that Paul wrote to them to correct this lie they got in them about being forgiven, which got in their thought(s) from evil, this what they thought, well we can do as we please now, and did not have care for others, only self
no more punishment, we can do and remain forgiven, and so had been taking for granted this gift of forgiveness given them. Truth is: yes we are forgiven, there is no more to be given I tis done in Son once for us all, to be given new life in Father's Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24)
Today, this has been turned into working for it by our flesh natures, as if any other flesh can please God but Son's that did it for us all once to be made new in Father's spirit and Truth, the Holy Spirit, thank you
