Do we dissapoint God?

Blessings to everyone, I'm new so please have a little patience with my typing.
I've read through most of the posted and in a sense everyone is correct being we each have our individual journeys and lessons we need to apply to complete our mission/ calling.

,My summary is when God gave us a calling and we came to earth ,He took into account our stubbornness and stupidity.
Now with that said he knows in the flesh we will sin. The goal is to be in the spirit not the flesh so as to not fall to the world's understanding (ie man,our own) but in his to navigate the labyrinth of earth.
It's a wilderness survival situation, but he gave us the compass holy Spirit, the how to manual ( Scripture) and the light in the darkness Jesus/ Yeshua. We can not disappoint him as long as we follow from our hearts. We can however wound him like man did to the son. If in our hearts we purposely sin. We are judged not by flesh just by what's in our hearts.

Given that God knows everything about us.
He knows our past and he knows our future.
He knows us before we are born.
He has created us in our mother's womb.
He knows we will sin even before we are born.

So when we sin, get it wrong, are not loving are selfish etc.

Is he disappointed with us?

If you say no why do feel that way?
If you say yes why do you feel that way?

He regretted having made us shortly after our beginning.

After the deluge that wiped us out save for Noah and his family, we started all over again. With the same fallen nature.

How can Omniscient Sovereignty with Dominion over all he creates be disappointed in himself?

God' The Word , his Word, is designed to make you think.

The kingdom of Heaven is spread upon the earth but men do not see it.

Ask how does God see you and me right now? He would have to be disappointed in Christ for God sees us through what Christ has already done. We are holy and righteous because we believe in trust in Jesus Christ. There is no other way. Christ is the door.

What gets you well me the most is.. you expect Him to be disappointed.. you know the sin you did the thoughts the words what you watch and read yet there is no condemnation. He just smiles and says "that's why I died". Don't believe a word I say.. He is your Father if you believe in Christ so ask Him from your heart.. ask Him how He sees you.. He will tell you show you. Righteousness is right standing with God we get that by believing in trusting in Jesus

What is Daddy's view after Son took away the sin of the world, everything but the choice to believe God or not. Which is all I see as left is to choose to believe God does just love you too or not through the done work of Son for you too, thank you
then one will be new, seeing new and letting go of everything they have for God to us was God sees fit through you, not as others tell you.
Think wisely on that rich man that walked away sad in Matthew 19, not willing to let go of all he had. then the disciples perplexed and asked Jesus, seeing that rich man walk away sad, asked Jesus How then is it possible to be saved, since no one can do it perfect, Law to do no one!
Jesus's answer floors me
"With man it is impossible"
"With my Father, all things are possible"
Then he goes willingly to that cross to be killed by man willingly, without fighting back
Then risen and will never die for anymore sin ever, that was done on that cross once for us all to be forgiven, reconciled
Either it is done for you, you, you, me and all others too or it is not, you choose, thank you
Father, Daddy, PaPa is waiting patiently as people I see have a hard time with, I know I did and still can and have, yet by God from God through Son I see I remain forgiven by God.
in Thanksgiving and praise now, trusting to be taught new and how to walk new in love to all as is first done for all by Son going to that cross willingly, who is risen where new life in Father's Spirit and Truth is given as the Holy Spirit leading, once one becomes willing. Will you be willing, even unto death too?

Everyone sins but in this age we rely on grace to cover our sins.

When Moses came down from Mt. Sinai and found many had made the golden calf and about 3000 souls were killed by the Levites. Do you think the outcome would have been any different if they had a Santa Claus instead of the golden calf? Christians have been taken in by the world and Satan today also.

Things we do have consequences in our lives tho our salvation is assured.

I tend to go in a different direction than what is expected with questions like these. A principle I live by "beware the simple narrative" is always active with me even though audiences tend to want the quick and easy answer.

These things are best understood when we recognize God's kingly rule.

With God, everything has an appointment. In the beginning, we see the Lord and the Spirit "letting" creation come into being according to His spoken design.

(By the way, this is the first scriptural proof that the Holy Spirit is the "Restrainer" spoken of in 2 Thessalonians.)

So the order, structure, and timing of all things are determined by the Lord.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

The question is "why?". This verse is often used as a proof text of God's sovereignty, which, although not wrong, really misses the point. God's sovereignty is never in question. And if He ever demonstrates His sovereignty it's for the benefit of the witnesses, never as a proof to Himself.

The "why?" answer is this: all of creation is designed to display His nature and His character. Furthermore, it was created to perfectly support the Son (and the children given to Him) who reflects His perfect image and likeness. You may see it as God annexing the creation into the Kingdom of His Son: an eternal Being showing His sovereignty over time and space.

And all this motivated by "love".

All of creation then - every component of it - has an appointment in His grand scheme.

See, "disappointment" is derived from a French verb disappointer which means "to deprive of station or position". It's active. We tend to use the word as if it only describes a feeling like "I am disappointed that the movie theater is closed today".

No. It specifically means "where once you were appointed a measure of authority, you are now bereft of that authority (or office)" In effect, you have lost your appointment.

You can find many uses of the word "appoint" in the English Bible: HERE Notice how they are all actions: someone in authority is appointing another to an office or position of rule.

For brevity's sake (too late? ) let me end on this: God may, most certainly, remove us from an appointment from a lack of obedience. This is not about losing one's salvation. This is about Him removing someone from a position of authority and rule.

I think the church does not understand these things because the church chooses who has authority based upon things other than God's appointment of men or women: like education and how much money someone has or even how well they have memorized Bible verses. The United States church also has a problem with knowing who is in charge because many have rejected kingly rule as a matter of national principle. In their minds, if you are disappointed from a position you just go out to find another one. God is both the entrance and exit door for all appointments.

To chime in again. If you had a father that beat you always called you names.. like say your 15 and just as you pass by each other the day before XMas he says to you "your going to be a bum all your life" so forth so on. ..pffft

How do you think GOD is going to treat you? Because of Christ we can call Him abba Father.. just like the little children do. In my 50y of just walking with Him 64 (ohh bday today) He has never ever once even hinted at being disappointed with me. I think there could he a time where say we walk with Him very closely and know Him I mean know Him and do something that.... yeah I could see Him saying something in that moment. Not mans definition of disappointed

We do tend to look at all this by how we feel in that moment. He is not like us. Haha what do I know

I believe God may be disappointed in the fact he really wants to give us things, and because of our actions or tendencies he can not give us some things.

But as far as him being disappointed in us. I would say no.. We will never meet his standard.. so he will never have such high expectations he is disappointed when we do not meet them.

Why would Jesus be at all surprised by anyone's behavior?

That is a really good question and have wondered so myself. I really have no answer. However, to paraphrase Paul.....those things which I should do I don't do and those things I shouldn't do those I do. I can say I sure feel disappointed in myself at times. O wretched man that I am.

therefore by God in risen Son see the enemy destroyed in the resurrection of Son once for us to be new in love and mercy also. That got its way in the first Adam, by his eating from that tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Each are born knowing good and evil, Not born sinners, not born good, just with the knowledge to see for self, at least me 'I" need God to lead not me anymore. thank you
Time to change my mind and be captivated by God's Love and mercy for us all, to do as led by God not, self, anyone else, or even evil itself in wanting good for me too.
