They did resist the Spirit of God indeed. No argument there. I am just saying what Jews believe from words of God to Moses who penned them.

But my first and foremost point in this thread is that the Oneness Pentecostals I know believe God is Father, Son, Holy Spirit (3 in 1) and Jesus being the WORD made flesh (begotten Son of God).
They don't really believe in Moses' words, they're just liars that believe in rather their own doctrines. For if they actually believed Moses' words they would have believed Jesus was the Son of God and not murdered him. They would be like the good seed of Abraham like the apostles that did genuinely believe in Moses and therefore served Jesus rather than murder him.

The Oneness cult again do not believe in God really, they believe in modalism, and merely tried to repackage it with the name of Oneness Pentecostal. They are neither Pentecostals nor Christians. Modalism, which is the central tenet of their evil false religion is a damnable heresy, not very far removed from indeed the beliefs of the Pharisees. Their heresy is not a new heresy, but is an ancient heresy that has been certified by the saints of Jesus to be one that is severe enough to get one a guarantee of damnation. They confuse the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit together into mere modes. They do not believe in the trinity doctrine so they do not really believe in the true God, they believe in a god of their own imagination, little more than a golden calf of Jeroboam to justify their schism and the aggandizement of their cult leaders.

I'm not going to engage with replies as much as I nomally do, but for the sake of the all the replies in just general, I will conclude posting here with an analogy and questions that you need not answer really but just think about it. Say there is a fool that lays down on the highway in the oncoming traffic lane and he claims he is a pedestrian just like us. There are then two other pedestrians that chance upon the fool laying in the road. One that tells the fool to get up out of the traffic, that they can't be a pedestrian and also lay down in traffic, and that they will certainly get hit by a car if they stay where they are. The other one says with all smoothe words that hey you're just like us, you're a pedestrian too, there's nothing wrong with you laying down in the road, it's okay no car will hit you. Which of the two pedestrians is right in what they say about the folly of the fool? If the fool takes their advice, which one's advice will save him and which one will get him certain harm? If the fool is obstinate and listens to neither; what is more likely to happen that one can negotiate an entire change to the rules of road or that the fool will just simply get run under the wheels? So is the analogy to the modalists that merely renamed their ancient heresy as Oneness and how Christianity deals with them.

I think you know a few groups of people and have applied that little group of beliefs to all who fall under a certain category. But I travel and evangelize and meet these groups in every state of the USA. I will take my first hand experience over the opinion of someone using a google definition. But thank you for your time. God Bless.

Well then you're just going to be wrong about alot of stuff I guess and your evangelizing will be for vanity because their cult definitely holds to the heresy of modalism and that's the reason why they schismed from both Pentecostalism as well as Christianity as a whole. It is incumbent that we tell them the truth that this heresy of modalism and their cult are guarantees to certain damnation unless they abandon the cult, abandon the heresy of modalism, and convert to Christianity.

I doubt that. Man has defined the Bible every way that they missed the Messiah standing before them. The RCC (men who were priests of the Roman Catholic Church) formatted the Bible and our Creeds. I choose the Leading of the Holy Spirit over the whore of Babylon as my advisor.

Keep the faith. It is alarming , the number of anti-trinitarians on this forum. The Oneness view is indeed heresy, a very old heresy indeed.

For what it counts I just want to clarify that I gave you the thumbs up as thanks for the exhortation, though don't worry, my faith is not easily shaken. I just wanted to comment to clarify that I actually don't think the forum is bad nor do I think the anti-trinitarians are actually so numerous. I think it's just a little phase of late that will pass.

From my understanding they believe much like the Jews that God is ONE.

From the usage of Isaiah I have learned they basically believe God is Spirit that became flesh as a Comforter and taught individuals about the Kingdom of Heaven to spread the message. But God in flesh returned back to Heaven so God could come back as Spirit and be a Comforter to multiple people at once.

They fully believe God is Father, Son/WORD, Holy Spirit. They fully believe God is One God. They differ between manifestation and person because the word person is never used in Scripture.
That in its own way seems to complete with Scripture. Jesus said He had to depart so the comforter could come and guide them into all truth.

As far as their belief in baptism , Father,Son,Holy Spirit, the passage says baptize in the name of...singular.

If it referred to three separate identities it would be real as in, names of the Father,Son,Holy Spirit.

Hear O Israel our God, our God is one.

God is the Father. God is The Word made flesh that dwelt among us, the Son, and God is a Spirit,Holy, not a man that He should lie.

What name then for Baptism?
Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What is the gift of the Holy Spirit?

That is interesting that Jesus told His disciples to baptize in the NAME....
And then we read the Apostles (most were the direct disciples of Jesus) went and baptized in a NAME...

Definitely something to think about.

Do they believe that unless you are baptised in the name of Jesus only then you are not saved as your sins are not remmised?

I get the impression they do. I was quoted the following.
-------------------------
The answer to your question is Matthew 28:19.

The apostles administered baptism in one name only; the name of Jesus. Why? "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole....

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12

The ones I know think anyone who believes Jesus is God and only way to God is saved over baptism and doctrine.

But Peter also in chapter 10 baptized all of the people with Cornelius in the name of the Lord which is Jesus and they were Gentiles not a direct part of the crucifixion of Jesus.

So it's rather intriguing like I said because Jesus said baptize in the NAME and the disciples used Jesus for that NAME.
