Hebrews 9:26-28
26 For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment. 28 So also Christ was offered once to exhaust the sins of many; the second time he shall appear without sin to them that expect him unto salvation.

Not "exhaust the sins of many" but pay the full penalty for the sins of the whole world at Calvary. You are using a very misleading translation and that word "exhaust" is not appropriate. So just junk that version and go back to the KJB.

The scripture verse I posted is correct.
Hebrews, Chapter 9 (KJV)

26For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Jesus willingly gave his earthly life, and shed His earthly blood on the cross. This precious blood was the cleansing power that allows all who believe in Him to be worthy to be called the children of God. I would think any believer would know this, since it is taught in most every Sunday School class in most every Congregation of believers. As well, it is often the message of many Sermons by many Pastors.

He came to the earth as human, produced through Woman (Mary, in the tribe of Judah, a Virgin) To fulfill the Law and prophets, prophesied of himself, first. The Law, entire Law had to be fulfilled first, before any new Law could ever be poured out new in place over the written Law of the Old Testament.

Authorized (King James) Version, Hebrews 7:11-12

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Hebrews 7:11-14

Living Bible

(e) If the Jewish priests and their laws had been able to save us, why then did God need to send Christ as a priest with the rank of Melchizedek, instead of sending someone with the rank of Aaron—the same rank all other priests had?
And when God sends a new kind of priest, his law must be changed to permit it. As we all know, Christ did not belong to the priest-tribe of Levi, but came from the tribe of Judah, which had not been chosen for priesthood; Moses had never given them that work.

We are today in the Law of Love, God's love 1 Cor 13:4-7

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Living Bible

Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.

John the Baptist, even said to Jesus when Jesus came to him to be water baptized by John. John said he needed to be Baptized by Jesus. Jesus said to John he first must do everything perfect, that is fulfill the Law. That is what he came here to earth to do for us the people. Said so in Matthew 5:17, then did it, then died once only willingly John 19:30, yelled out he did it "It is finished"
Then was risen back to life as our high priest to lead through us in Father's Spirit and truth for us to love all, not those that do us good only, now all. If your enemy is thirsty, = feed him
Good is what overcomes evil and did when Jesus went all the way to willing death once for everyone to now choose to beleive or not to God Father of risen Son for them
Toooooo Simple, to take on God's yoke, and it is seriously easy Matthew 11:28-30

God sees out before me, knows what is out there, before I can ever know, yet in thought I can think I know and get caught up in stuff, here on earth over and over again and again. And have, learning new now in discerning this. The thought(s) where they mine or were they from spirits of evil in rebellion to God? Have many of those thought(s) become my own thought(s)?
Being made new and aware now, seeing that truth now and seeing to respond and not control them as taught to control, which in truth I now see is a loss for me to try to control.
"I" can't do it, not perfectly yet can do many things,m just not all, "I" need perfection, God requires perfection.
I am not able, I see that now. Seeing now why Son did what Son did without having to do it. Did it by choice for us all to be saved in his resurrection of himself by Father approving it. seen as risen after death (Col 2) was proven first as dead for three days before resurrection, where we the people in belief are saved with him, standing in beleif to this done work for us. Wow, thank you Father and Son as Won (One) for us the people to either believe you personally or not, hoping all will come to belief too
Entering God's courts today with thanksgiving and praise, seeing thankfully to Son's done work for us with all sin taken out od the way first on that cross once for us all, to see thankfully from Father's view, all sin now gone as far as the east is from the west, being given a new heart of original flesh /Esekiel 36:26

The scripture verse I posted is correct.
No my friend, the words "to exhaust" added in this translation you quoted from Heb. 9:28, do not exist in the original Greek Text. In the Greek, this verse appears this way: οὕτως καὶ ὁ Χριστός, ἅπαξ προσενεχθεὶς εἰς τὸ πολλῶν ἀνενεγκεῖν ἁμαρτίας, ἐκ δευτέρου χωρὶς ἁμαρτίας ὀφθήσεται τοῖς αὐτὸν ἀπεκδεχομένοις εἰς σωτηρίαν.

There is NO Greek word that would translate into "to exhaust". It was added by the translators when it should not have been. The Greek text literally reads: So also the Christ, for the sins of many to bear, will appear again apart from sin to those expecting him for salvation.

This is TWICE I've found you using this bible version to stir up strife among the brethren.
