The Douay-Rheims Bible is the original Bible God ordained.
Dear friend, where did you get the idea that God ordained a particular Bible Translation?
God inspired the original authors and the original autographs were without error, however, no originals exist in recent times - such as the 1500-1700s. Only copies. Additionally, they were written in Hebrew for the Old Testament and the Koine-Greek for the New Testament. (The Koine-Greek was the common man's Greek at the time of Jesus' visitation.).
Any translation of these languages leads to errors creeping in and "all" Bibles have them. Thankfully, God has protected these works and the errors are minimal and do not alter in anyway the clarity of the Gospel message.
Nevertheless, God has not ordained the Douay-Rheims Bible from the Catholics anymore than He ordained the King James, American Standard or whatever.
