If you have links proving hawkishness....post them.

As you can see, I am posting HUNDREDS of links week after week.
I'll pass, I do my own research and so can anyone else.

I like actual footage and primary sources, commentators and influencers are helpful after the facts are established.

Yeah, I can just imagine going to my uncle's grave who died in World War II and posing with a thumbs up.
Bizarro world that is what we have come too!
Yeah, I think a salute would have been highly more appropriate personally. But I mean, even that would still be illegal to take pictures.

So then you are against people being fired over what they view as their religious freedom?
I'm surprised to have to explain this.

When you're at work, a lot of your freedoms are curtailed. For example, your freedom of speech is significantly restricted in that you can't call your boss names or tell competitors your company's secrets. Same with your freedom of assembly, in that you can't just go and meet with competitors nor can you assemble with your co-workers in the break room and chat all day.

Such Constitutional freedoms are about preventing the government from infringing on those freedoms, but you may still face consequences from your employer for doing the things above while at work.

So if you work at a place that says you have to refer to your co-workers or customers by their preferred names and pronouns, then that's what you have to do if you want to work there. Likewise, at a business that doesn't have that requirement, a trans employee will have to decide if they want to work there.

It appears that's what people on here are doing... whataboutism. If it's true Joe Biden did the same thing in 2020, how does this make it legal for Trump to do it? Why can't we attack both parties for doing this?

Thank you for making your argument that it's illegal and unjustified.
Exactly, constant what aboutism.
Here is the photo at least he is isn't smiling with a thumbs up.

It doesn't. It's illegal and wrong no matter who does it.

Thank you for making your argument that it's illegal and unjustified.
You're very welcome. :)

I just feel it speaks to so much more when Trump takes a picture with a smile and thumbs up, doesn't it make the picture all about him and not about showing respect in that setting.

I think even his supporters should have some concern but no, they just defend it, it is Trump you know he has a different standard, sigh!

Just say what he did was in poor taste, stop making excuses already!!

Yep, that plus Trump clones like Lake in AZ losing big (which the polls show is likely) will hopefully be enough for the GOP to hit the reset button.
My son thinks Trump will not win, polls aside, because people wanted an outsider in 2016, which was his big appeal at that time against Clinton and now he is seen as a "politician" so he has lost his advantage.

Calling your boss a name would not be religious freedom, at least not for a Christian, likewise telling company secrets would also not be religious freedom.

So instead of justifying violating the 2nd amendment based on phony hypotheticals why not use a real example.

The vaccine was an experimental vaccine. You can't mandate an experimental vaccine without following a number of regulations all outlined in international law which the US is also a signatory on and therefore these laws apply in the US as well as most other countries.

Many people chose for a variety of reasons as well as religious reasons to not get the vaccine and yet they were forced out of their jobs. Since the vaccine mandate did not abide by the law it was illegal and refusing people who appealed due to religious freedom was a violation of the US constitution.

So then, do you support those who were fired over the vaccine mandate, a real example of people claiming a religious exemption?

Yep, that's probably the case for some former Trump voters. And now that he's surely lost at least some veterans and will likely lose some pro-life voters, his loss looks increasingly likely and could be by a pretty large margin.

But preaching at your boss, co-workers, and customers would be, or a Wiccan casting spells against their boss, co-workers, or customers would be too, and an employer can prohibit employees from doing those things while at work.

If they have legitimate religious reasons, then the employer can make reasonable accommodations.

Good. Shut down the war machine.
Of course, derailing the $$$war gravy train$$$ is the primary reason the swamp wants Trump liquidated.
Everybody knows this.

DAVID ASMAN: since you and RFK are part of the Trump campaign, explain why did you go with Trump?
TULSI GABBARD: The choice in this election is very clear and the differences between President Trump and Vice President Harris couldn't be more stark. Frankly, to put it simply, the choice for the American people is a choice with Donald Trump, a man who values peace, prosperity, and freedom. He has a record that proves that. And Vice President Kamala Harris, whose record shows an increasingly tyrannical government undermining our freedoms. We are embroiled in multiple wars and the world is closer to the brink of nuclear war than ever before, with increasing economic hardship for Americans throughout the 3½ years she served as Vice President of the United States. The contrast couldn't be more clear.

This is personal for me, the endorsement of President Trump. As a soldier for over 21 years, I deployed to multiple war zones in different parts of the world, putting my life on the line for the safety, security, and freedom of the American people. It is important to me and every one of my brothers and sisters in uniform that we have a Commander-in-Chief who values every one of our lives, who carries that responsibility as Commander-in-Chief very seriously, and who will exhaust all diplomatic avenues before seeing war truly as a last resort.

The last point that I will make on this—another point of contrast—is that President Trump showed through his last administration that not only did he not start any new wars, but he took action to prevent them by courageously meeting with adversaries, allies, partners, dictators. He would meet with whoever he needed to pursue peace. Kamala Harris criticized Donald Trump for doing exactly that. That shows if she is elected President, she will not do what is necessary in the pursuit of peace, and I’m certain she will lead us very quickly into a war to mask the weakness and insecurity that she feels and try to project strength using the lives of my brothers and sisters in uniform to do so.

Right. A politician who wants to make peace with Russia.

A sentiment that is ANETHEMA to every uniparty denizen in DC.
That is the one thing that will never be allowed.

Clinton would have already nuked Russia if she had her way.

Quit bellyaching. No bitterness here where it counts.

If we both agree that Biden checking his watch was disrespectful and inappropriate, do we also agree that Trump doing a thumbs up pose by soldiers' graves and using images and video from Arlington for his campaign is also disrespectful and inappropriate?

Trump could go take a picture at a biohazard waste dumpster outside of Planned Parenthood with a smile and thumbs up and some might say, "Look how pro-life Trump is!" without thinking it's a bit strange...

They would follow that up with a picture of Biden sniffing little girls' hair.

If he wasn't invited and asked by the family, then I think it would be a different situation. Biden didn't even show at the last 9/11 memorial service. Let's see what happens this year.

We can agree that Biden could care less and turned down the request, knowing full well that it was his neglect that killed those souls.

So tell us.....what do you think of the Afghanistan withdrawal? You good with how it happened and the results?
And are you good with the billions of equipment and hundreds of personnel left behind?

As I said before.....

@katbritton08

Why didn’t the Arlington staff want photos taken? What’s it to them? My father is buried at Arlington and I took a lot of photos and videos at the cemetery during his internment ceremony. It was the most beautiful funeral I’ve ever witnessed. I still take photos when I visit his grave.
