this is also incorrect. the words in Genesis 3 describing Adam as a living soul are exactly the same describing every other animal. unfortunately kjv mistranslated them as living creature when not referring to the human animal, but the Hebrew is exactly the same.
all animals have spirits, have the breath of life, and are living souls. every single one will be resurrected.
mankind alone among the animals has sin; the other living creatures have been subjected to death for our sake.
i was with you all the way this part I’ve never read or can back up ( not disagreeing just haven’t seen it )
“
every single one will be resurrected.
mankind alone among the animals has sin;”
Agree again here
“the other living creatures have been subjected to death for our sake.”
“every single one will be resurrected.
mankind alone among the animals has sin;”
This part
“And surely your blood of your lives will I require;
at the hand of every beast will I require it,
and at the hand of man; at the
hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.”
Genesis 9:5 KJV
remember God made a covenant with the animals also in genesis
“And
to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.”
Genesis 1:30 KJV
and then
“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.”
Genesis 6:12-13, 17 KJV
later he’s saying “whoever kills a man I will require his life whether it’s a man or beast “
i think it sort of proves part of your point About animals and tbier importance to God in tbat he did give the spirit of life to every beast and animal and fish and bird and fowl as well that life force within anything that lives is the spirit of life that comes from within God himself that “ breath of life “
“
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
John 4:24 KJV
the spirit of God moved
“And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul.”
Genesis 2:7 KJV
“All the
while my breath is in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils;”
Job 27:3 KJV
“The
Spirit of God hath made me, And the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.”
Job 33:4 KJV
“And
they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.”
Genesis 7:15 KJ
“
all in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.”
Genesis 7:22 KJV
Under the law also animals seem to be accountable
“there shall not an hand touch it, but he shall
surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.”
Exodus 19:13 KJV
a here’s a really good example
“
If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and
the ox shall be stoned.”
Exodus 21:32 KJV
“
If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.”
Exodus 21:28
this one i realize is vulgar but it does speak of the accountability of both man and beast going all the way back to what Noah was told in his covenant after the flood
“And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto,
thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
Leviticus 20:16 KJV
Also this one where of you had an oxen , which was known by you the owner to be aggressive towards people and you then let it out in use and it fires someone and kills them
“But if the ox were
wont to push with his horn in time past,
and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman;
the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.”
Exodus 21:29 KJV
So I think maybe God does hold animals accountable for sin is the only thing I would disagree with
I assume your correct about the resurrection in eternity there will be animals the ot makes it clear so it’s fair I think to assume the people came from this world and so would the animals
maybe some of those innocents who were sacrificed for man but also maybe some of those Lazarus the beggar types who get abused and treated bad in this world but have better things ahead
all speculation of course not there does seem to be a level of God actually having a covenant with animals also his own creation he’s claimed in the Bible , which even holds them to some accountability for actions they take by maybe thier corrupt nature sort of like we do
there are some really bad people who do a lot of harm in society . And then also there are a lot of animals who do the same dogs who just attack people for no apparent t reason , cats who scratch people any terrorize other cats and animals but then there are those really good natured and helpful friendly animals who wouldn’t harm anyone or any animal
there’s clearly a difference in each animal I believe anyways they aren’t like man to God but they do seem important and lived and cared for by him also since they are his own creation that also was corrupted by man’s dominion and fall
