Humility
I grew up among poor relatives and they were some of the happiest, kindest folks you could meet. They had their flaws, and burdens, but they looked on the sunny side of life.
Reading, and living for more than seven decades, has allowed me learn about a lot of brilliant people. Many committed suicide because they sought the praise of society, rather than God. History is full of smart folks, most of the humble ones died happy.
Humility is a complicated word. It doesn’t mean being a quiet wimp, but understanding that all good things come from God, and we are to view life as a gift with responsibility. Luckily for us, He has tremendous patience and a big heart.
Our value is determined by Him, and not this World
