Thank you for creating this space for discussing mental health issues. It's essential to have a safe and supportive community where people can share their experiences and seek advice from those who understand. Mental health is a crucial topic, and we should all work together to break the stigma surrounding it. I'd like to share a resource that might be helpful for those dealing with specific phobias. You can find valuable information on megalophobia at https://www.mentalhealth.com/disorder/specific-phobia/megalophobia. Knowledge is a powerful tool in managing and understanding our mental health.
For those suffering from Bat Phobias.

Im not endorsing yoga, but I thought this was a very touching story about the famous boxer called butterbean, and his fight with depression and disability.

Christian Dad Assures Children The Ghost In The Closet Isn't Real But It Might Be A Demon

ST. PAUL, MN — Roused from his slumber at 3 A.M. by the sound of distant wailing, local Christian father Sam Franks rushed to his child's bedroom to see what was wrong. Though the child complained about seeing a monster in the closet, Franks assured the whimpering child there was no such thing, but it might be a demon.
"Look, there's nothing here in the closet, see?" the boy's father said, gesturing to a black abyss behind the closet doors. "But demons are a very real spiritual force and could be invisible. It might be that."
"Well, good night, son."

Moments later, when the boy came rushing to the master bedroom for comfort, Franks was incredulous. "Did you just leave your brother in there with a demon?!" he asked.
Though experts have said a near-constant fear of monsters in closets or under beds is common among young kids, for devoted Christian fathers like Franks, it's a theological teaching opportunity.
"I can't just lie to him," he later explained. "Yeah, maybe there wasn't a demon in there, but what kind of father and spiritual leader would I be if it turned out there actually was? Boy, would my face be red!"
At publishing time, young Jimmy Franks was no longer afraid of monsters and was only afraid of his father, though Sam Franks argued it was likely the result of demonic influence.

Well, there is some truth to that.
I wonder if this is why I had so many nightmares about demons as a child? I could definitely see my mother saying something like this.

Not sure why you even pay attention to white noise but here's something meaningful:

A Father’s Resolution

I do solemnly resolve before God to take full responsibility for wife and family, and to set a godly example for them in society.
I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, sacrifice for them, teaching them our Christian Faith as the spiritual leader of our home leading by example.
I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.
I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, all their souls, and all of their strength.
I WILL raise my children to respect of all people, especially those who are different then themselves, and treat everyone with kindness and love.
I WILL fight against the injustices of the world, acting as a peacemaker, showing mercy and grace to those who society may think don’t deserve it, loving especially those who feel marginalized, and walking humbly before God.
I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family, and set an example for them in generously providing for others in need.
I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged.
I WILL learn from my mistakes and repent from my sins, walking with integrity as a man answerable to God.
I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, and do His will.

This is my resolution as a Father.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

(Joshua 24:15)

Mother's Day:

Where would we be without our mothers? Broke, stupid and even worse men than we already are. Women can do no wrong especially if they are a mother.

Good point. And this rule applies to anything except Mother Mary ... because those Catholics are not cool.

I understand that people can do better, but I thought Father's Day supposed to honor fathers but instead preachers use it as a time to preach at them instead of actually honoring them as a father. Honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long...

I have nightmares all the time. At least sometime during the week I'll have some. Probably a bad spirit messing with me. Thats why I keep a whole stack of Bibles beside my bed. If I have a real bad one that know s from the enemy I will read my Bible and leave the Bible open to the verses the Lord shows me and go back to sleep.

Here's one more idea.
When Saul was plagued by a spirit, he would call for David to play music and sing . That would drive it away.
