Best thing I've ever bought. Completely bullet proof. Eventually it will probably pay for itself in gas mileage.
This might be comparing apples and oranges, but when able to afford one, what advantages would you say are over a high end E bike? An ebike would be quiet and less odor getting to a hunting blind. Other than that I can't think of any advantages an E mt bike has.

PS: Exercise

There about as old school and DIY as you can get. I adjusted the valves myself, and I have never adjusted valves on anything. It got a little hot on me today which it does sometimes in July heat. If it gets too hot I just turn it off and let it cool but you can buy an oil cooler for it.

You can mod these things out though
Now comes the Quad Q.
4 Wheels vs 2.
When I was a teenager, I basically lost my face for a time until it healed, not like that grizzly bear attack I posted in the testimony section. This was a low speed face plant on rock/ coal covered concrete without a helmet while riding my little Yamaha.

I haven't had a motor bike since. A quad costs a lot more, but has more cargo space. However, I can see how a good backpack or saddlebags / paniers would haul a decent load on one of these Yamahas. Maybe good for pulling a garden wagon full of firewood. What do you think about that possibility?

I grew up on what we call 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers. You can get a Honda 300 fourwheeler from the 90s that is rock solid.

I've seen 3 wheelers. Those had a reputation of the front wheel popping up and losing steering. Otherwise good bikes.
I didn't know thatabout Honda.
They've always been known to be top of the line. What a shame.

I will need a tractor or something else to haul firewood a quarter mile. The thought occured that a bike like this or quad might handle that in 1st. I don't need to drag logs, just fill a large garden cart or wagon after chunking with the chainsaw.

I have a friend that still has an old 185s three wheeler and that thing is a little beast. I love it. He let me ride it a few weeks ago.

Yours looks really cool in the grey and those lines. Surprised I never saw one.
Should be a great off road work horse.
Is there a way to hook a hitch?

I just binge watched some videos on it. Looks like a good bike for any normal task except for interstate.

I read a lot of the slick magazines on prepper skills. They usually feature an off road bike that costs a large fortune. This looks like one that costs a lot less and would be ideal for an end times grid down transport.

Here's a name that came up on the subject of mental health today.
I was told by someone who was prescribed medication for depression that they were harmful and at best useless. The harmful ones has caused the person suicidal thoughts. The ones of no value were the same as the Drs, of no value. He said, why should I pay all this money for something that provided no benefit?

Here's a famous psychiatrist, Dr Peter Breggin on the topic of psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Dr Peter Breggin

Unfortunately, YouTube censors removed most of his videos. They don't like his anti pharma perspective.
He is the only one who I respect highly.
