Expressions of Anger And Irritation

It has occurred to me, and I hope this helps to generate future and permanent change, that each time I express any form of opposition to this world, the opportunity to share the Gospel is lost, if not most likely, anyway.

This is a stark reminder of how we are to conduct ourselves in this world, run and operated by the Devil.

I cannot fall apart like this again.

Philippians 2:14-15 NLT - "Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people."

Pft. According to the above, I am a complete failure. Unbelievable.

Jesus died because were all failures . Those things are there not to condemn us and make us feel like we failed . They are there to teach us new better things as we grow up .

Good News!! God loves saving failures.

Well, I guess I did a horrible job of creating this thread. My concern isn't so much that I continue to fail in this way, the concern is lost opportunities.

Ok, so . . . I am preparing to begin working in my community to begin actively spreading the message of God. The more I express irritation toward the wrongdoings of others, the more people will be repelled by me. We can't be so selfish and self-centered, but selfless. And, this means living a life so clean that no one has anything to say.

It's too bad there isn't some kind of a class we can put us violators through before being banned. 🙂

Hardly. A wide variety of views are allowed to be aired, which is much more than can be
said for other Christian sites. But if you want to complain to mod, take it up with him.

Well, I don't think that I'm all that horrible in the moment, but I can be a bit animated, which bugs me alot. I'd like to be more stoic.

I have been delayed in my writing project for about 7 weeks. Each week delayed costs $1500, as I pay myself to do this work, and am also losing income from the job I have to have. With all the delays, it has cost me over $10,000. So, as I express myself to the person responsible for this grave error, I complained about more than I should have. I never swore, raised my voice, threw anything . . . Passive Aggressive might be the best way to describe it. What I should have done is said absolutely nothing and just move on. Live at peace with everyone, if it is possible. We respect people that never complain, therefore, it makes sense to become a person that never complains. And if this can be achieved, folks may be more willing to listen to what I/we have to say about the Story of God.

What is more important? Wasted money that I am trying to use for the advancement of the Kingdom, or an opportunity to share the Saving Plan of Christ with the very person who caused these rather expensive problems?

Don't get me wrong, if anyone else began ranting and raving about that much cash being wasted, I wouldn't plug my ears. I get it. So, no . . . I don't feel completely horrible about myself. I defend myself as anyone would, I think. But as a Christian, I am called to represent the Divine Nature that allegedly controls me. And since I believe that the Spirit controls the Children of God, I had better start acting as though this were the case. If this problem isn't resolved, then perhaps I am not what I think I am. Yes, I am serious about that.

Yeah, so there's no need to do any further dissecting. Let's find ways to build each other up and encourage one another instead.

Just stand up tall and teach as honestly as you can, but be careful to teach the truth. Stick with what you know….and brother, stop trying to please everyone. There are many things that the Lord wants to teach us. Don’t lose your cool and please don’t ever go off on folks; don’t hurt anyone. Not everyone has learned at the same pace and disagreements are inevitable. It seems to me that here on CC, we have lost the ability to respect each other.
