It has occurred to me, and I hope this helps to generate future and permanent change, that each time I express any form of opposition to this world, the opportunity to share the Gospel is lost, if not most likely, anyway.

This is a stark reminder of how we are to conduct ourselves in this world, run and operated by the Devil.

I cannot fall apart like this again.

Philippians 2:14-15 NLT - "Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people."

Jesus died because were all failures . Those things are there not to condemn us and make us feel like we failed . They are there to teach us new better things as we grow up .

Shines a light on us so we can see ourselves in his light and what needs pruning and fertilizer . To call us forward to those better things he’s convicting us of in our own hearts.

The more I express irritation toward the wrongdoings of others, the more people will be repelled by me. We can't be so selfish and self-centered, but selfless. show are you expressing your irritation on some offensive way ? Or are you saying “ if I talk about repentance from sin then people don’t want to hear it ?”

you should probably not expect to preach the gospel and have a bunch of people flocking to you and cheering

Rather you’ll find a lot of the world doesn’t want to be friends anymore but remember Jesus explained this in the gospel

if you tell sinners they don’t need to stop sinning and they’ll be saved they’ll love you for it but you’ll be leading them astray .

I’m wondering are you insulting them ? Or just taking about how we can’t keep sinning and have to repent ?

If your offending people definately I see your point if your just speaking the truth and they don’t like you for it I don’t understand at all because that’s often exactly what happens but he’s foretold all these things in the gospel

Well, I don't think that I'm all that horrible in the moment, but I can be a bit animated, which bugs me alot. I'd like to be more stoic.

I have been delayed in my writing project for about 7 weeks. Each week delayed costs $1500, as I pay myself to do this work, and am also losing income from the job I have to have. With all the delays, it has cost me over $10,000. So, as I express myself to the person responsible for this grave error, I complained about more than I should have. I never swore, raised my voice, threw anything . . . Passive Aggressive might be the best way to describe it. What I should have done is said absolutely nothing and just move on. Live at peace with everyone, if it is possible. We respect people that never complain, therefore, it makes sense to become a person that never complains. And if this can be achieved, folks may be more willing to listen to what I/we have to say about the Story of God.

What is more important? Wasted money that I am trying to use for the advancement of the Kingdom, or an opportunity to share the Saving Plan of Christ with the very person who caused these rather expensive problems?

Don't get me wrong, if anyone else began ranting and raving about that much cash being wasted, I wouldn't plug my ears. I get it. So, no . . . I don't feel completely horrible about myself. I defend myself as anyone would, I think. But as a Christian, I am called to represent the Divine Nature that allegedly controls me. And since I believe that the Spirit controls the Children of God, I had better start acting as though this were the case. If this problem isn't resolved, then perhaps I am not what I think I am. Yes, I am serious about that.

Just stand up tall and teach as honestly as you can, but be careful to teach the truth. Stick with what you know….and brother, stop trying to please everyone. There are many things that the Lord wants to teach us. Don’t lose your cool and please don’t ever go off on folks; don’t hurt anyone. Not everyone has learned at the same pace and disagreements are inevitable. It seems to me that here on CC, we have lost the ability to respect each other.

Hardly. A wide variety of views are allowed to be aired, which is much more than can be
said for other Christian sites. But if you want to complain to mod, take it up with him.

Totally agree with this and I’ve mentioned my review of this site in another topic.
Compared the other forums, this site is very well-balanced in the administration aspect.
Other sites are a bit like the political parties. You got the woke brigade and you got the maga bridge where they delete posts or ban users for no reason.
I’m just a guest here and other sites, but I appreciate the moderation style here and I know there‘s only one admin who does the heavy lifting every day twice a day or more despite him having to do his job and have his life and other things he has to deal with.

can I just say though In seven decades I can remember many times I thought 💭 had it figured out at 20 I was sure I knew , 30 I definately knew now , 40 well maybe I didn’t then but at 40 I certainly did ect

have you spent any time on the fellowship forums here ? It’s a lot different from the bible discussion forum

i think observing a discussion beteeen two people who aren’t agreeing can look like it’s disrespect but really it’s just two people discussing from different points of view

The Bible discussion forum isnt a great reflection of this place as a whole I think because it’s a forum for public discussion and people from all over the world chime in your gonna have a lot of different ideas And sometimes just someone not agreeing with us can seem “ disrespectful “

Ive been here bout two years and have test to actually be offended by anything I’ve seen or read . I also see alot of times two people aren’t hearing what the other is saying and perceive insults where they aren’t given ive done that myself before here perceived an inslult where it didn’t exist I mean


the fellowship forums here are wonderful for fellowship and finding out who people are when they aren’t in a discussion forum
