As for what's working for me, I don't know if it is or isn't. If I can plant a pebble in their shoe, however, then that's my role.
Well then don't be ignorant about what you are up against. All churches in the US with a tax exempt status are 501 (c)(3) churches. This means that if they renounce that status all their assets (meeting hall, etc) must go to another 501 (c)(3) organization. Therefore, you can say the assets belong to the government.
Now a 501 (c)(3) must submit to the laws of the state. If a state says you cannot discriminate against women then you must allow women pastors. If the state says you cannot discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community then you must accept LGBTQ+ pastors. If the state says that bathrooms must allow people to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with then you must abide by that.
You are not allowed to push partisan political issues. Pro life is clearly a "partisan issue" and a church that openly supports that can lose their tax exempt status and be required to pay the missing taxes. However, everyone supports diversity, equity and inclusion. No one claims to be a bigot. Everyone agrees that slavery was bad and institutional racism is bad, so everyone supports "CRT" to some extent. This is why Obama's pastor could be so political while all other pastors are muzzled.
Not only so but a 501 (c)(3) must be governed by a board of directors. This is how Jesuits and Freemason are able to get control of churches, pump money into them and turn them into "mega churches". The board is focused on being "fiscally responsible" which translates to "don't condemn sin" and "don't talk about hell" and "preach OSAS" etc. They don't prohibit the teaching of the word of God, rather they discourage or even prohibit certain topics. So churches do not talk about eschatology, they don't talk about the Antichrist, they don't talk about judgement on the world.
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
This ruler did not repent for calling Jesus God, so this was not a rebuke, it clarified that this guy was saying Jesus is God in a discreet way. So this is not about the Pharisees, they would never have said this.
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
So this guy has been raised from his youth with the ten commandments. Clearly not a Roman. He has been raised to live according to the Bible from his youth and he recognizes that Jesus is God. This man sounds like a Christian ruler.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
Do you have any idea how rich some of these denominations are? When I was a NYC stockbroker I learned that the biggest trust fund in the city was held by the Episcopalian church. This rich young ruler that Jesus is talking to could very easily be the pastor of a Mega church or any 501 (c)(3) church.
What is the solution to a church that feels handcuffed by the IRS? Simple, sell all that you have, give the money to the poor (soup kitchen, etc) and come follow the Lord Jesus.
