Let me remind you

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

It's the Word of God that "divides soul and spirit" NOT a sword. We are within the Covenant of Grace. Once again, you post "another Gospel" using your misunderstanding of Scripture to justify your posts. (truly sad)

Here, lets use the proper Scripture:

Hebrews, Chapter 4:

12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 149:6
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.

And it's the truth from a child of God

And if you think my Irish friend is nullified or sarcastic you are mistaken, his voice is full of kindness

hopefully you have all watched the video, but I would recommend watching it several times 😊

Also I would take note that on the day of the lord he will settle disputes between all nations, so there is no rapture.

Also take a note of this and ask yourselves a question.

Then turning back to Mary, he gently cupped her head with his hands and said tearfully, “And a sword will pierce through your own soul also” (Luke 2:35).16 Dec 2013

So if Jesus tells his mother a sword will pearce her own soul with a tear.

Would it be unreasonable to ask a sword will pearce the souls of all his followers to.

And with this question, would it not be unreasonable to ask if we are in the covenant of the sword.

Have the 7 thunders been prophesized and where can they be seen.

And also would it not be unreasonable to suggest the great tribulation is a individual experience, where by no one will no the hour or the day of another person.

Or should we all all walk around with nullified reprobate minds 😊

The title of the video "Why Jesus Came to Bring a Sword" contradicts why Jesus came - "I have come to save the world."
Jesus saves by grace, the gift of God.

The sword as Jesus used in "Believe not that I have come to bring peace, but a sword" represents the spiritual conflict that would arise between the saved and the unsaved.

That was not a very inspiring video because the speaker accentuates all the negatives. It was depressing.

When a person turns to Jesus, they don't do it because because they are thinking about a sword or the cost of following Jesus.

Instead, people turn to Jesus because they are moved by the Holy Spirit to repent of their sins and embrace in their heart that Jesus died on the cross for the washing away of their sins. And are at that moment - born again. Saved.

That's a positive message, not the negatively charged message of the speaker. I would not recommend the video.

There is no such thing as "the covenant of the sword".

Reference the bible verses containing the 7 thunders and why those verses about the 7 thunders have anything to do with the content of this thread.

Jesus said his sword will penetrate the soul and will even divide his own household.

Which proves there is no rapture and proves the prophecy of Isaiah, which says Jesus will come back to settle disputes amongst his own house hold to 😊

Rejecting the word of a senior pastor in the blink of an eye is not wise.
