So I was awakened 40 years ago in the midst of a very bad situation, and since then I was aware of Jesus in my own way

Until March this year I had to go for a hip op , couldn't cope with the idea

My aunt and her friend spoke to me on the phone at 5 am on the day , I was filled with peace

I thought wow what great Christians ! I wanted to become one , I've tried

But i can't shake entirely my attraction to also Hinduism or my feeling that Jesus wasn't white

About the "whiteness" of Jesus. ..
Everyone is some shade of tan or brown.
Jesus did not look like a Renaissance painter's long haired European model. God did not provide anyone an image of His Son, probably because it would become a stumbling block of idolatry. This might be a tough truth if you have any Catholic upbringing, but so did I.
The main thing is that we agree with what the Bible says about the Son of God. He took us deity. At the same time He is also entirely man. Unlike us, He never sinned and always did that which pleased the Father.
Salvation is described as a free gift.
The only condition is faith in Jesus Christ as opposed to faith in our works. Just as we do not do anything to earn Everlasting life, there's nothing we can do to lose it.
Those who tell you that you lose everlasting life and must be born over and over again, are trusting in their personal good works.
How long does something last that is everlasting?

Here's a very good description of this fundamental Bible truth.

Heaven or Hell?

Also in regard to the title of your thread, the Bible says:

Hebrews 6:4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

So there is the possibility of falling away. OSAS believers ignore these verses but these and many other verses are in the Bible such that they can't be denied.

OSAS believers claim that non-OSAS believers claim to trust in our own personal works, but we actually trust in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit at work in us instead.

In terms of falling away, you don't fall away from just one sin like the OSAS believers claim we believe. It has to be a willful decision after having been saved and then giving up abiding in Christ - basically walking away from God. There are many verses that reflect that possibility. This can happen because God hasn't taken away our free will.

I would recommend that you pray to the Lord for insight and understanding as you study the Bible. Pray that you LOVE the truth and you'll see that OSAS is false teaching. Also realize that even though there is a possibility of falling away, abide in the Lord instead, no matter what happens in your life, and you won't fall away. The Holy Spirit will enable you to overcome habitual sins, and empower you to obey God and to endure to the end.

This non-OSAS belief isn't popular - but no true teaching of God is. Be prepared for opposition and false accusations when this happens, but you will have God's back and support and He will be your strength.

I have not ignored Hebrews 6:4-6 and be sure to read all the way to verse 9.

Wow, this comment along with the title of the thread seem to be disconnected a bit.
First off it is very safe to say Jesus was not white. He was a first century Israeli Jew born in the middle east, it be pretty weird if He was white. So what?

The answer to the title is no, you can not be born again twice. From your comment I have to lean towards you maybe haven't been born again once. I say that because we are not born again to see Jesus "in our own way". When we are born again we see Jesus in truth, and when this takes place our eyes are open to the truth and all false "ways" like Hinduism lose all appeal.

When you are born again your dead spirit is resurrected and reconciled to His forever revealing the truth of our Creator to us first hand. This is not something that can be undone and redone, any more than your first birth could.

I hope this answers your questions somewhat, and I'd love to dive deeper into any aspect of this you'd want too. Hope you have a great day. :)

Just like you ignore ALL the verses that guarantee we are saved once for all time and cannot be snatch away by ANYONE. So don't act like you're not doing the exact same thing the other way. There is a thing called harmonizing the text ALL TOGETHER, so please get off your pedestal and stop accusing others of what you too do too, and you do it to construct a confused and ignorant God, very unsure and unreliable that is found nowhere in scripture. I think you should check yourself before casting stones sister.

Ok, so, everything, all creation, is Father's, including you. However, everything was subject to futility, including you, not by its own will but by the One who subjected it in hope, that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God...and all creation waits in eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God... (Romans 8:19-21).

Again, all is the Father's and all that the Father gives the Son, the Son will nowise lose but will raise it up at the last day (John 6:37).

I don't know about you but, out of all the options given me, I'm going with the only One who can raise me up again to life. What a Friend I have!

Oh, and I shouldn't fail to mention, that the Father gives the Son all those that believe in Him. And this is how anyone, white or otherwise, is born again.

I was taught Hinduism, when I was young, under disciples of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The true triune God revealed to me that he was a false prophet and that his followers were deceived and following devils. I rejected Hinduism and eventually got saved/ born again when I trusted Christ as my Savior

Jesus answered your question directly because Nicodemus already asked it here.

"3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"

Jesus was not teaching Hinduism or reincarnation. In fact He is God Almighty and besides Him there are no Gods. Those masquerading as gods are devils according to Him. They rebelled against Him in the beginning and followed Lucifer who wish to be exalted and worshipped. That's where those freakish images of the Hindu gods, like Kali, come from. They are images that people made of those who followed Satan/ Lucifer.
Those devils will be cast Into hell when they are finally judged. Those people who do not get saved from hell have the same destiny.
That is why your question is so very important, as is your response as the Bible states.

God Almighty warned His people to have Nothing to do with Hinduism's teachings and false gods.
They must be rejected altogether and your faith must be in Jesus 100% if you want to be 100% sure of having everlasting life. It it simpler than some make it out to be. It is not confusing unless you go to the author of confusion for answers. Here's the truth.

Jesus told Nicodemus how to be born spiritually. Just like any birth, it occurs once spiritually too. It's not confusing.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:18

To make sure that you aren't condemned, but saved, you should listen to the video that I posted. If you have questions about Hinduism, I have a series of short videos available on the subject. Do you have any questions about that Lucia?

To answer your question, yes, if you believe in reincarnation.
To qualify this answer...
yes, if you believe in reincarnation and reincarnation is not a vain imagination.
And, since all flesh is born of its own kind, i.e. flesh of man, flesh of animals, no man can be born a grasshopper, nor a cow, not even a 'divine' cow.

Since you are uncertain about your destiny, I would take time right now to really nail it down and make sure.

Hinduism teaches that good behavior/ works
are required for salvation, to come back in a better form or to Nirvana. False Christianity does this too as it mixes faith in those works with faith in Jesus. With the conflicting teaching from Roman Catholicism and other forms of works teachings from similar churches, it can be confusing. God is not the Author of confusion.
Do you now understand this distinction between works and faith/ grace now?

AFTER a baby is born by no effort/ labor of himself, he grows up and does works. AFTER that person, like Nicodemus, you or I are born spiritually by No effort/labor/ work of our own, we are in the family of God and we work as a part of our proper role. However, that is altogether separate from the birthing event.
I did Nothing to be born, that was Mom's job.
I do Nothing to keep born either.
As a family member there were lots of works I did since I was a young child. They were not conditions for remaining a child of my parents. My Mom never told me to mow the lawn or she was going to send me to hell.
I did NOTHING to be saved and can do NOTHING to maintain my salvation. Christ did the work necessary for that and it is finished. I rest in Him for salvation. I now work for Him out of gratitude and love. The book of Isaiah says that" All of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags", as it pertains to salvation.
Romans 4:5-8 says,

"5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."

Now is the day of salvation.
I will help you pray to be sure of your destiny. You can tell the Lord Jesus Christ this and He promises eternal life.

Dear Jesus,

I know that I'm a sinner and deserve hell.
But please save me right now and give to me your precious gift of everlasting life.
Thank you for suffering for all of my sins on the cross so that I will not go to suffer in hell. Thank you for dying for me and rising the third day.
I can do absolutely no works to save myself.
You did that for me, so I now trust You with all my heart.
Thank You for saving me Jesus.
Amen

No need for intellect!

Acts 5:32 KJV
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 17:30 KJV
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
