If making a fruitcake can it just be ONE fruit and not all mixed up unidentifiable fruits.

Like banana cake, or ...apple cake. Please?
Oh man... My great-grandmother's homemade apple cake!

The world will never again see its like.

I like fruit cake! What I do is take a hard brick of 2010 Clackstons fruit cake and cover with a juicy spoonfull of meatloaf. MMM MMMM. Nothing says Christmas like candied fruit, old bread crumbs and brown juice with a touch of catsup. Plus I feel like I've helped a cub scout somewhere. Of course he's about 25 by now.

Hmm... Ambitious. Setting out to make enemies of both fruitcake and meatloaf camps.

Well done sir!

The second morning tea there were actual (meat) mince pies and sausage rolls, which is basically meatloaf in little pastries. But they were a bit cold.

I received what everyone receives at Christmas....cadburys favourites chocolates, Roses, (chocolates).....and enough chocolate slabs to melt down into eggs for Easter

I have no idea why people do this, I guess its tradition lol
