Ball Earth conundrums

Actually, it's not flat. The human eye is unable to detect the curvature at such a short distance. The earth circumference is around 40,000 km. Ask the people who flew in the Concorde at 70,000 feet. They saw the curvature of the earth clearly. And so on and so forth. Countless proofs that the earth is a globe and still people are unconvinced. I understand scepticism. I do not understand those who stick to a theory when it is proven to be wrong.

You might be really surprised - amazed and astounded - at/by just how much intellectual folly occurs as a direct result of spiritual blindness...

Sure, evolutionists are a good example of that. I'm 72. I'm hard to surprise nowadays. I am surprised at the ignorance surrounding the founding of the nation of Israel by people who call themselves Christians. I should not be, as the Bible warns us that there will be much deception in the last days.

All will be revealed soon enough. FE belief is pretty harmless. Ratcheting up hostility to Israel is not.

Unfortunately logic and reason is not the strong point of FE believers. Every pilot, every navigator, every route scheduler and every mariner knows that the earth is a globe. Their lives may depend on it. If they believed FE, they would run out of fuel, not helpful on a plane or in the middle of the ocean. But FE adherents persist. I only post on the subject to help those who may doubt but are not yet committed.

The only thing it destroys is any delusion that you understand basic physics.

But - they are not the only ones that refuse to believe what the Bible says. And, unfortunately, some are even Christians.

The Bible describes the earth as being stationary, and that it does not move. Why are Christians so unwilling to believe it???

What are the chances that Ball Earth is part of that deception?

What if all of us have been deceived all of our lives about many things?

What about pharmaceutical drugs?

Do you realize that the "building block" substances of all pharmaceutical drugs come from the left-over waste-product "sludge" of the oil distillation process? And, do you understand that - the reason they all have side-effects is because God did not design our bodies to "process" these substances?

A lot of things in this world are "hidden in plain sight" - you have to "do the research" to understand the real truth about them.

I did look at it. And, I believe you are accepting and assuming much more "truth" from it than the actual data presents. Most of the data is actually "faked" - with the transponder data - if it has not been compromised in some way - being the only real data that is presented. And, that alone is by no means proof of a Ball Earth. There are too many other factors at play here - any-or-all of which may be reported incorrectly.

Plane speed is one of them. Even if the flight is real (which is yet to be proven) - it could be a plane going at a significantly higher speed than reported over a longer distance than reported. This is the flat-earth-reality case where the flight is made to look like it took place above a Ball Earth.

The lack of transponder data for the entire trip is very telling - showing us, in effect - that there is no satellite system present.

Show me a non-stop flight from Sydney, Austrailia to Santiago, Chile.

But - make sure there is someone we both trust on that flight to take very precise notes for the whole trip - that we may examine the details of their trip.

The "strength" of FE folks is the ability to look past the deception and see things as they really are.

No - they believe that the earth is a globe - they do not know that the earth is a globe.
